This is true..... but this also shouldn’t be something to judge and make or break a movie.

Cuz if we being honest..... (since y’all bringing up old DC movies, it’s fair game for me to do so too):hubie:

For as great as TDK was, the Joker was NEVER a sense of danger to Batman nor was anyone he fought in the that movie. No one could genuinely end his life. Joker was more or less just a big nuisance to the city of Gotham:ld:

And we hold that movie extremely high while ignoring many little things that could discredit it

The most dangerous thing to Batman in that movie was 2 dogs:usure:

It certainly wasn't meant to make the DC versus Marvel Universe comparison for the thousandth time.

But instead more like a similar style character and mood of movie that should have been captured. MOS felt like the stakes were high, that Superman was learning how to handle himself against killer warriors.

When he finally went HAM it meant something. This movie was like a bye week before the Super Bowl (Endgame).

The Joker comparison doesn't work IMHO. He wanted to push Batman to his breaking point of his morality. Sort of like Punisher with Daredevil. Killing him wasn't in his playbook.

Cool, that’s fair.

Then in fairness everyone was either trying to....

... capture her to get information from her or capture her to control her and use her for her powers for their own agenda.

We can’t just say “she wasnt in real danger” if the Skrulls really wanted to kill her, they could’ve easily done it on her ship when she was restrained and then boom movie is over.

Also later when the Kree recaptured her and sent her to that mind illusion thing, she easily dies there if they wanted to

So you maybe wrong to as the comparison may not work here as well with MOS

Also, I get everyone wants A4.... but let’s stop doing that. A4 is just that big and ANY MOVIE would be a “Bye week before the Super Bowl”

The only movie that could’ve stood directly next to A4 to come before is A3

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Why is brie Larson acting like a robot?

Halfway in and confused

The kree has been wiping her memory for 6 years and training her or should I day forcing her not to use her emotions. Once she finds out that she was from earth she was confused because she didnt know who she was.

For the most part she was ok to me, but she did have like 2 parts where she was dialogging with Samuel L Jackson (of all people) where she was glaringly stiff.

It's sad that Thor losing his eye was more epic than what they did to Fury.. :francis:

Holy shyt marvel fukked that pack up.

:ohhh:

Or maybe the Flerkin didn't betray Fury yet?

:patrice:

Yeah That's the theory I'm rolling with until proved otherwise.

:ehh:

Makes sense (to me) why her acting got better as the movie went along.

They spoke nothing but FACTS.

At the beginning of the video, all of them said it didnt feel like they were watching a super hero movie.

Which I said in my first review of this.

To me, that said they felt the movie was too grounded.

Also. I think most people thought the movie sucked once danvers came to earth. If the movie wouldve stayed in space for most of the movie, it wouldve gotten better responses.

Which is the same problems that the first 2 thor movies suffered from.

The problem with this characters story arc is that there are too many moving parts. It really should've been a 3 hour movie in order for them to flesh out everything including mar-vel, and the history of the kree/skrull beef.

But this was a danvers origin so they had to condense it. There ain't but so much you can include in a 2 hour run time. And when most viewers know nothing about the source material, they are going to be critical.

It is what it is.

The :mindblowing: thing is that even tho they made this abundantly clear early on in the movie and it was one of the central plot points, people still complained about her monotone acting.

In MOS, Clark Kent grew up on earth and he was monotone for the entire movie for no good reason. Contrast that to Christopher Reeves superman.

People have selective memories.
