I mean people have to realize:
1. Film making is an art medium just like comics. What works well in one medium doesn't always work in another. If you're gonna create a sculpture, you aint gonna approach it with the mindset of a painter. Different mediums different rules.
2. Directors are artists. No artist wants to directly copy what another artists has done. Every director is gonna want to put their spin on the source material to make it theirs.
3. You can't expect a movie universe that is 10 years old to tell stories like a comic universe that is 60 years old.
