Universal studios owns the films rights to Hulk so Marvel doesn’t want to pay them if they make a solo movie.

Universal used to own the distribution rights.

Marvel owned the rights to the character.

That meant MCU had to pay Universal for films with Hulk as the star or named after him.

That is why Hulk appeared so often in other peoples' films or the group films.

I think the MCU got the dist rights back 15 years after 2008's Hulk i.e. in 2023.

Exactly, i keep saying the same thing. His jet pack and wing = super soldier serum. He doesn't need to be able to run 40 mph when he can fly faster than sound.

Not surprising. He was the same in the comics, and in Falcon & The Winter Soldier and is a trash character to begin with. They should've exed him out and gave that screentime to Eli.

His movies don't do well, so they won't take the risks. And Incredible has an Edward Norton cut, which soured them on the entire character going forward.

I go at 5, but I'm expecting a run-of-the-mill flick. Falcon isn't leading character, and they halfway dropped the ball with the series in losing momentum on all of the excellent on screen chemistry that Mackie & Sebastian Stan had.

Falcon as Cap is a better character (still needs his own identity) but he's not Steve Rogers-lite. Political espionage is not his thing...he's a man of the people, which was one of the better aspects of the series. I'll give my thoughts after the movie

shoulda made a movie called "Captains" with Falcon getting his shine as the leader of a group consisting of Bucky, Red Guardian, Isiah Bradely, his grandson, and a 3rd act return of Steve. wouldn't have stepped on Falcon's rise, they could have still made him the main character.

for a start he has normal human durability and endurance. less than your average boxer.

Being more and more OP doesn't make the movie better. Nobody complains the Steve Rogers isn't as Strong as Captain Marvel. Because her movies are trash and her character is boring powers or not.

cap's powers make for better hand-to-hand combat than any other hero in the MCU (well maybe not shang chi) and people love hand to hand fights.

if he was a real hero in the real world running about saving people, then sure people wouldn't care.

but this is entertainment at the end of the day.

swap in mackie for hawkman in that film and the result would be comical.

mackie just ain't it and marvel spent 6 movies telling us that ("on your left, i do what he does just slower, ...")

they send these physical heroes for 6 months training to turn them into iron folks but mackie will never be that so they didn't bother.

so what we get is a balding, diminutive, dumpy with a receding hairline.
