I can change a tire within 15 minutes if need be.

My Avalon front driver side kept going flat(cuz I kept getting cheap used tires like a dumbass years ago) so I was always changing that ish.

Now I'll admit I can't change an oil filter nor oil(but I think I could if need be but wtf wants to deal with changing the bad oil out for the new?) But I could learn.

Lol, well mine is a 2013 5.0 R-spec with 429hp. It is not as smooth a ride as a normal genesis, but it has the power to easily muscle past many cars causing some shock.

When I first got it, my wife kept telling me people mistook it for a Mercedes until they saw it up close. Even her students joked about being excited when first seeing it, but going awww when they realized it was a Genesis. So your reaction is definitely not out of the ordinary.

The options that came with the car were just as loaded as luxury cares more than twice its price and having less hp than it, so I went with it. I have been happy with it all these years I have it. Though, I would not get another one, because they have drastically increased the price on Genesis sedan's while having less horsepower than I am use to.

I may consider getting a Genesis SUV though, but I am not in a rush for an over 1k a month car payment at the moment. I will wait to see how things turn out interest rates wise and demand wise before I pull the plug on a new vehicle. Until then, dusting people in my relatively old car now, will have to be my pleasure.

Word; I hear you tho car payments trash....they do look nice tho the fact that people can perceive them to be a Bentley or a Benz speaks volumes......if it drives good and u like it I love it u dig :salute:

Why that gotta be the second option. I'm pretty confident to say that I am one of the worst drivers in America, so I'm thankful to live in NY and don't use a vehicle for too much other than to go upstate or fukk around Jersey. But yeah, I'm fukked if something ever happens. I should probably learn this shyt. I know how to jumpstart a car, but that's about all.

not knocking the skill, but this can't be worth the effort. there's enough deals and places to go for cheap enough

i just got 8 quarts of full synthetic at a chevy dealer for $95 a month ago, and they give it a good inspection. i'll take that over saving 40 bucks to change it myself
It's DEFINITELY worth the effort. These oil change spots be getting over like barbers. Im talking damn near $200 oil changes. I saw a bunch of folks on FB bytching about it was was like :picard:.

Jiffy Lube with a Groupon is so cheap you might as well save the trouble and time. Full synthetic be like 60-70 dollars

200 dollar oil change :mjlol: i guess if you drive a high end benz or bmw. anyone paying that for most cars is a fool

check your local dealer. they're usually pretty cheap because they want to find problems to quote you to fix

Grandfather and pops taught me how to change a tire, fill a hole etc. I know the bare minimum to keep a car moving till it gets to a shop.

:sas2:unlike Ricky Sr II, it took me on my first go whereas he got chewed out about not getting it right by the original to the point he ended up crying like a bytch about it.

Changing oil is literally one drain bolt, I could literally teach a 5 year-old. I normally change my own oil becauae it only take me 5-10 minutes to change it, which is substantially quicker then taking it in.
