Yeah I can see that. I remember when Iron Man 2 came out and people were comparing her fighting style to Mystique from the X-men films. I think people are just use to her being depicted as more stealthy and behind the scenes that she looks weird running around amongst the bright costumes and shyt.
It would probably be on the same level as the other heroes as Marvel doesn't do destruction porn like DC. But her feats on the show are still pretty dope and precise, with of course her bringing down a building being her most destructive featAnd they would also have a bigger budget so she can unleash her full set of skills

And to answer that she would be off the chain in an actual real spy flick like a Borne Identity, Mission Impossible, James Bond type movie but with a female lead instead of fighting next to juggernauts like The Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, etc with only a hand gun and a couple of slick lines. And they really only give her action scenes where's she taking down a couple of no name-lower level henchmen with some eye popping hand to hand combat. It would really be out of the box and next level thinking if they made a Black Widow movie on the side on some real cloak n dagger- sexy backdropss -deep undercover steeze instead of the usual Marvel popcorn flick.She was putting in work in the Winter Soldier tho...
She would be the weak woman out on an avengers squad but many people don't realize she's a fukking spy, expert marksman, martial artist and has good hand to hand combat skills. If they gave her like a power boost SSS style she's be way OP...

Both of them are more hardbody than their MCU counterparts tbh. Nat's vulnerablility doesn't really translate that much with people unless she's with bucky or matt murdock. Most of the time she's stoic in a maria hill/ wolverine kinda way. And Elektra natchios has zero spunk, and is actually born to greek parents, not just greek by adoption

Im watching Civil War for the first time, and it's great so far but we're at the aiport fight and it's laughable how out of place she is

Eh, I'd argue that between her, Clint, and Sam, people enjoy seeing some regular humans in the mix. It would be great to see her, Clint, and Sam take more hits and struggle with not having powers in that group more, but at this point, it's hard to spare screen time on that sort of thing. Personally, I enjoy the psychological games Natasha can play. Sometimes fighting isn't just physical and it's fun when they use her abilities to lie and play the double agent.
