Can we ban the words "bad writing", "plot armor", "rushed" and "fan service" from The Film Room?

Yall are bugging. These are legitimate criticisms of a show. Game of thrones was great because no one on the damn show had plot armor, you thought anyone could get got. I still enjoyed the episode a ton but I was also annoyed by things that could've easily been corrected. Just have Sam hiding in the crypts not out there doing snow angels in a pile of zombies and living. Don't film Jon hiding behind a tiny rock that saves him from dragon fire. They literally said they had lil girl mormont not die on the first blow and killed the giant because the fans like her. I realize it's fan fiction at this point but those are easily correctable issues. I enjoyed the overall story and many other aspects of the episode.

I loved Endgame, personally. It wasn't perfect, but I found it really enjoyable. And considering it's a finale of the greatest film saga I've ever seen, that only makes it more impressive.

That being said, I don't understand being upset at fans who critique films/tv shows. I don't know how it breaks down by generation or anything else, but everyone has the right to critique whatever they want. "Do better" is no more subjective than anything else. It's vague as all hell if left at that, but that doesn't make it illegitimate.

People in here saying we are mad cause yall aint love the movie or show as much as we did and thats not it, its people not knowing how to express their opinions without using the same buzzwords to garner daps or likes.. most opinions are not expressed very well on here and you cant get meaningful discussion cause people dont know how to have a discussion.

The people on the coli or twitter arent film critics, they will just say "it was trash, do better" or " you can tell it was rushed, why because I aint like it"

thats what pisses me off, No context, no one elaborates, no one explains their gripes, and often times they act like they could do better

Then you have the types that actually like the movie or show, but only mention the negatives, and that comes off like you only had bad things to say meaning you aint like it.. why not list all your thoughts when you make these posts? the good and bad? this aint twitter you can type more than 130 characters

But back to the topic your original opinion shouldn't mimick everyone else to the point that everyone is using the same words or phrases. There is no way so many people uses the term plot armor in their day to day, I only hear that shyt here. How original is that thought

but was it that bad to have that girl kill that giant the way she did? I mean did it really make the show less enjoyable? I mean yall shouldn't be so up in arms about little shyt like that, it is a tv show, its not a book, they trying to entertain people and there are far worse examples of unnecessary fan service.

people take the smallest things and go on tirades like it ruined the show, people were bytching about a 4 second pose in endgame, like seriously? thats what pissed you off?

Well the show couldn't have plot armor when the book was already completed and any one who read the books already knew what was going to happen :russ:

The story was literally 10 years old by the time they're starting it so plot armor didn't even exist:mjlol:

Some of yall softer than baby shyt. Like damn yall can't handle criticism of tv and movies you like how are you handling irl criticism?

Like I get it, on this forum you can find an poorly thought out inane hater criticisms for any good thing in life. I like drake music and I post in the booth, believe me I'm hip.

But damn get over it.

"Why can't you just sit back and enjoy the show?":damn:

"Why don't you stop watching?":damn:

This happens in every show thread when things are great early on and everyone is loving it. Later seasons get a little sloppy and the people who are critical are ruining things for those who still want it to go like an appreciation thread.

I’m saying that we are both reading the same thing.

Just like I saw deus ex machina 14 times, so did you.

You don’t have to be the 15th person to say deus ex machina.

We get it. You know what it means.
Are you tired of seeing the word Avengers? That's been said way more frequently than Deus ex machina but you appear to not have a problem with it

Mods can y'all ban the words Captain America? I'm tired of seeing it:ld:

That's what you're doing bruh

Y'all ain't keeping the same energy

If a GOAT level show devolves into cheap tropes with no nuance and sloppy writing, coincidentally you'll see an increase in complaints about aforementioned cheap tropes and bad writing

I've been in GOT threads since this board existed and you didn't see the type of complaints about seasons 2-6 that you're seeing about last season and the current one. There are people that watch GOT for a specific threshold of quality, which is all but gone now in relative context. And a lot of the complaints being articulated ain't as caveman as you're making them. There are legitimate criticisms being addressed that are going on outside of this board about the same shyt:manny:

If the people that watched the show because they like death and dragons enjoyed seeing the death and dragons that's FINE. Do you.

And if your enjoyment is that high maybe you shouldn't give energy to people that didn't enjoy it as much as you did and have legit issues with how something has devolved

I enjoyed Endgame a lot, but there was some silly ass shyt in that movie:mjlol: I ain't mad about it, but a nikka come to a discussion board calling shyt silly and nikkas get bent out of shape

To the point where nikkas trying to police words they don't like:mjlol: that shyt is ridiculous bruh
