Can we agree Bale has been the GOAT Bruce Wayne?

You also have to ask yourself, if given the chance..could Keaton have been Good as Bruce like Bale was with an Origins Based Movie like Batman Begins. Tim Burton is a Great Director but he never went deep with Bruce and his Pain other than some Flashbacks. Bale was given an entire movie to show Viewers himself as Bruce Wayne and he was Great at it. I say Keaton was Great as Wayne with what we saw, just like Kilmer was Great as Wayne with what we saw. Nolan wanted You to know Bruce 1st which I don't think I can say was the same for Burton and Schumacher, those earlier movies were more about Batman than Bruce.

Bruce Wayne was supposed to be a rich playboy...
Nobody did it better than Bale...

That scene pulling up with the supermodels in the 2 seater with 2 models stacked on top of each other...

I liked Bale's Bruce Wayne because he was the irresponsible, p*ssy hound, spoiled rich dilettante persona. That cover that Batman uses as Wayne has always been more intriguing to me than just playing Wayne as some straitlaced billionaire pillar of the community.

Bale was good in his own right as Wayne but I always thought Keaton's Wayne was superior.

Bruce Wayne has been portrayed as both Keaton's and Bale's versions in past comics. He's been both a dark secluded Bruce and also a self-entitled, spoiled playboy. I don't know why people are blaming the actors for not having enough depth when it was the director and script's vision in the first place. You guys really think it was Bale's call to make that voice :dahell:?

And if I had to choose, I'd pick Bale's Bruce Wayne. I don't think Keaton's Bruce would work in Nolan's universe. You would look a bit too obvious if you weren't balling like Bale's Bruce in today's setting. He was perfect for how the '89 film was. It mostly comes down to how the characters were written, not so much the actors. Unless they just suck in general :manny:

Its still Keaton...Keaton was more tormented, unhinged and reclusive like the real Bruce Wayne was in the detective comics...When people think of the Dark Knight Trikogy, they DO NOT think of Bale as Bruce Wayne....he's forgettable behind all the other great characters...Keaton was not.

im pretty sure most memorable in the first movie isn't Keaton's performance as Bruce Wayne...

Keaton plays the calm, mature, reserved billionaire Bruce Wayne better.

Bale's Bruce is a jock, playboy billionaire.

Both did well IMO.

But, given that Bale's Batman gets ruined because of his ridiculous voice when in costume, I enjoyed Keaton's performance better overall. Although Bale's Batman movies are superior to Keaton's.

It should be interesting how Affleck plays this. I don't see him as Bruce Wayne, but then again, I didn't see Downey as Tony Stark but he nailed that role.
