Can we agree Bale has been the GOAT Bruce Wayne?

On the real, I wonder what Val Kilmer would've been able to do with it had his movie gone in a different direction. He played Bruce as a tortured guy but obviously only to a degree. I know Bob Kane thought he was a great pick for the role

I think we're falling on the issue of which Bruce Wayne people prefer: dark, secluded Wayne or smug, a$$hole Wayne. :patrice:

Not even gonna go on about it anymore.

It's like the James Bond argument: everyone has their fav breh all for different reasons based on how they interpret the character. Some people love Roger Moore, some detest him :yeshrug:

For me it's not even about the characterization it's more about the performance. I think Bale is a fine actor but for whatever reason I just don't think he brought a lot to the role. His lack of conviction kept him from being likeable.

Keaton's version wasn't exactly what I would call the definitive Bruce Wayne but he just had an energy and a conviction about him that made him likeable. He had personality. He had presence.

And if we're talking about Batman then of course it's a no brainer. Keaton carried himself much better in the suit and overall just captured the look and feel you envision when you think "Batman". Dare I say he was perfect even.

two different characters. Bale's Wayne came off as a spoiled rich kid and pretty much unlikeable

keaton was basically batman the whole time, shyt his eye brows even look like the damn mask

keaton was better acting without saying words, but wayne didn't do much in either series

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
Mask of the Phantasm ain't a movie breh? And I'm dead serious with that. Conroy is able to inform so much about Bruce through his freaking voice. And understands the character better than any of the guys who've played him on screen. Mask of the Phantasm is one of the best batman stories and batman movies to ever hit the screen and his work as old man wayne in Return of the Joker is on point too. None of the live action portrayals have come close to what he does with both characters.

:wow: shyt, I need to upload my autograph and picture I got w/ Conroy last month. One of the best moments of the year so far. Dude was accommodating and friendly. One of the handlers came over to him at one point and was like "Kevin, you want to wrap up for today?" and he was like "Not till everyone in this line gets everything they need (aka his autograph and picture)." He truly is the embodiment of what Batman/Bruce Wayne should be.

"Did you know I was the government liaison with the Justice League for a while? I met some extraordinary people in that job, but none of them were the equal of Batman." - Amanda Waller

When Bale wasn't pretending to be tony stark, his wayne character was pretty bland

keaton had the quiet confidence

Bruce is suppose to be arrogant, but not obnoxious

this scene right here is a perfect display of the bruce wayne character

only knock on Keaton is his physicality
