The Mavs are just overmatched this series. They need to find a way to get Luka some better complimentary pieces because the Warriors were triple teaming Luka. The Mavs overachived this year. Congrats to Golden State for making another NBA finals.

Dallas did attack & got great looks on the kick out. They weren’t just coming up jacking 3’s. Did you watch the game??

what’s dumb about it? the three ball got them to conference finals on a team with only one star. They got butt naked wide open looks the whole game. They didn’t go in but the game plan was great on both ends. Secure a couple of rebounds and knock down a few more threes and they win the game.

nah, monty got outcoached and the mavs sniffed out all of bookers and cp's pet plays and put the onus on the non-playmakers to make plays and they looked terrible. how many times did we see jae crowder and mikal bridges look awkward on ball cause the suns offense is actually painfully predictable....but effective in the regular season cause teams arent focusing up to stop them like its a series...nor have the necessary communication. the suns functioned well all year whenever cp didnt play...so him playing poorly or being a nonfactor was due to what the mavs were doing...not some mysterious cop-out ass injury. he's always come up short in the playoffs. mavs played good to great defense last round....this round they're getting smoked whenever the warriors decide to not turn the ball over. suns relied on stationary spot up shooters to provide spacing...which you can scheme for with rotations and hard hedging to minimize luka getting taken advantage of. With that said saying the sixers....a core that aint even make the ECFs is better than a team that was in the finals last year is blasphemous and you need to relax. we get it you like trae and you gotta defend your man....but the way the east is set up...its more likely you'll be in the play-in than the mavs will....and no gm would start building a team with trae in mind over luka. trae will be in the hall of fame probably but theres levels.

Ever since the first time GS won a chip we have seen team after team try to develop their team around the 3 ball and try to beat GS with it and they fail and get out shot every single time. They get cold from 3 and suddenly look anemic vs GS.

The real blueprint on GS was to slow the game down, unhide Steph, make him play defense and tire him out, sell out on Thompson 3s and make Green a scorer, not outshoot them.

That's the only thing I hate about upsets re Mavs over Phoenix, is that team then getting mollywhopped in the next round.

Like Suns lost fair and square but surely they would have put up a bigger fight... I would hope.
