That dunk completely killed the crowd too for the rest of the game.

When you see your franchise player, the main guy on your team, get blasted like that on top of the other team being insanely good :wow:.

That's actually got to be a tough one. Imagine if that were Jordan, down 0-2 to the Magic and Penny dunked on him like that. That's pretty much how those Mavs fans felt.

It was an 8 point game with 2 minutes left and people were leaving.

And they had to die twice, because they were high off that moral victory fake charge :mjlol:

As soon as these nikkas got healthy and everyone back….instant finals. Hell of an organization. Can’t do nothing but respect it. They would have won 4 easily if it weren’t for KD and Klay going down.

The warriors dont have a real rim presence so it doesnt really matter if they were packing the paint. You should be able to get motion to put steph on an island and get to rim on this GS team. The Grizz did it, just got hurt.

Yes Dallas would most likely lose anyway but they wouldn't be down 0-3 if they chose a better gameplan.

lol you have no idea what you’re talking about. do you think they just leave curry on an island ? the whole point of isolating is to get the defense to collapse, which it will, then you can kick it to the open man. They have to make the shot. the warriors keep multiple bodies between the paint and the rim. The grizzlies shot a ton of three pointers also. there was NOTHING wrong with the game plan. They got exactly what they wanted they just didn’t finish plays. If they made the shots this game wouldve looked like game 7 vs the suns.

Folks have to understand its a reason only one 6-1 PG/SG has lead their team to a championship in the NBA (zeke). Even then zeke had one of the deepest, most versatile, athletic and size teams in the NBA.

And the two other 6-1 PG/SG has lead their team to finals and loss (CP3 and AI). You just can't compare 6-1 and under guards to bigger guards / wings and big men. Its a big man game period (players 6-6 and bigger). Those are the dudes who are usually going to lead their teams to championships. Even if a player is 3 to 4 inches bigger that is a big difference in the impact they can have. Take a dude at 6-7 and make him 6-11 or a dude 6-0 and make him 6-4. Thats the difference between being an all time great and possibly being a top 15 goat just increasing a players height.

Hell even trae is listed as 6-1 and we know his ass probably only 5-11 to 6-0 tall similar to AI.

If size didn't matter small kats like Calvin Murphy, Nate Archibald and Michael Adams would have led their teams to a ton of championships. Cause these guys were some of the greatest 6-1 and under players who ever touched a basketball in the history of the world.
True. In the NBA, you have a much, much better chance of become an all-time great and superstar being 6'7"+. I'd consider MJ and Kobe as anomalies in the Top 10-15 even at 6'6". Curry too if you consider him up that high.

They’re trying. They try to get Steph on Luka on the PnR Damn near every time down. the Warriors are just smart enough to not give up the switch unless it’s Green

Then add some extra secondhand embarrassment because the refs even tried to protect dude.

The crowd was not the same after that. It was an 8 point game with 2 minutes left and people were leaving.

Soon as I saw that dunk I was like game over :mjlol:

Ever since the first time GS won a chip we have seen team after team try to develop their team around the 3 ball and try to beat GS with it and they fail and get out shot every single time. They get cold from 3 and suddenly look anemic vs GS.

The real blueprint on GS was to slow the game down, unhide Steph, make him play defense and tire him out, sell out on Thompson 3s and make Green a scorer, not outshoot them.
Yeahhh that was think.. You can’t do that now, Steph playing real defense

Yep thats the only way to beat a Durant less Warriors. shyt Lebron and the Cavs gave folks the blue print.

The so called blueprint entails getting Draymond suspended, Bogut injured, and Harrison Barnes missing every wide open shot he takes.

That ain’t no fukking blueprint. :mjlol:

I like Luka but I really want this heliocentric style offense to die. Where one guy has like 40% usage and everyone is just like surround him with shooters so he can continue to put up counting stats.
he made it to the WCF finals with Brunson as his number 2 and a bunch of no names

hell Harden almost beat the 2018 Warriors to get to the finals

the idea that "heliocentric offense doesn't work in the playoffs" is bogus, Warriors are just the one team that's really good at countering it

eh, they had to get extremely lucky. the rockets hit some of the most impossible shots in Game 5. Not only that, everyone talks about how CP0 got injured being the turning point. let's not forget Iguodala got hurt and also had to sit out. The rockets got blown out w/ CP0 healthy in Game 3. Warriors even said they had them figured out until iguodala went down. Then they had to play rookie jordan bell a ton of minutes.

I say all that to say, the rockets had to get extremely lucky to even get to G7.

Besides, it's not just the Warriors. The Clippers beat the Mavs 2x. Sooner or later, some team is gonna beat that system. Kobe already said that it's not a winning strategy
