nah I give him credit

cause it makes sense that Sanders attracts Ron Paul people for purely his "anti-establishment" views

he and I mean, our good breh HellRell, is just really dense

but a good man.

but Ol' RP's newsletters boy :mjpls:

  1. "Given the inefficiencies of what DC laughingly calls the criminal justice system, I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal."

"We are constantly told that it is evil to be afraid of black men, it is hardly irrational."

After the Los Angeles riots, one article in a newsletter claimed, "Order was only restored in L.A. when it came time for the blacks to pick up their welfare checks."

One referred to Martin Luther King Jr. as "the world-class philanderer who beat up his paramours" and who "seduced underage girls and boys."

Another referred to Barbara Jordan, a civil rights activist and congresswoman as "Barbara Morondon," the "archetypical half-educated victimologist."- Ron Paul

:patrice:So you didn't have a good understanding of Bernie's socialist leanings 3 years ago and you were coming from a place of dissatisfaction instead of reasoned stance. And you've supposedly changed your political stance in the last 3 years? I find that hard to believe since you were a much bigger supporter of Ron Paul, the white supremacist pseudo-libertarian, and still are. Truth is you were just paying lip service towards liberal ideals and was just a right winger the whole time. There is no way your first choice was Ron Paul and the next best bet was Bernie Sanders. It's also funny to see you complain about the people supporting Sanders, but yet be find common ground with Trump/Paul supporters.

All in all you haven't grown at all. You're still using the same bad faith argument tactics you did before.

I'm not saying @HellRell804 is a bad person. Just a disingenuous person. He acts like he just found out how socialism works within the last three years, but was already convinced libertarianism? Nah.

Nah I just bought into the lie that "democratic" socialism was something different.

But it wasn't

I did support Bernie back in 2016 because, like everyone else, I was tired of the established order.

But then the DNC fukked bernie over and signal boosted trump because they thought he was going to be an easy win.

Oops

But you know what happened these last 4 years? I started to actually listen and research into Bernie. I began noticing the people who ride the hardest for him and I realized that they were people who I wanted nothing to do with in any capacity. I started thinking about how exactly would he pay for all of his big ideas and I realized that I don't even like the amount of taxes I pay now, I don't want to pay even more to help people I dont know or care about. I saw him praising Venezuela, then I saw Venezuela fall apart. I saw him trying to use Denmark and Norway as examples of his policies then I saw Denmark and Norway distance themselves from him.

Long story short, I received more information and changed my mind. Which is what you're supposed to do. You're not suppose to lock yourself into an ideology and ride it until the wheels fall off.

It's called growing, maybe you should try it
How you are with Bernie is how I was with Ron Paul. I liked his anti war and anti corruption stances, but then saw that he surrounded himself with white supremacist "paleocons" like Pat Buchanan, Pat Robertson, and the John Birch Society. I can't trust them.

Like I said, by that logic Cook and BK are simultaneously Women worshipping simps, male feminists, women hating incels, degenerate porn addicted weirdos, kobe stans, lebron stans, anti mumble rap, pro future and other mumble rappers, trump supporters, bernie bros, Elizabeth Warren fans, anti immigrants, pro immigrants and every other opinion that gets shared on this site that they created.

Providing a platform for people to say whatever they want means that people will eventually say some wild shyt.

I'm still pro free speech even if you use that right to say things I don't like or agree with

except that's from his own newsletter, that he wrote

First of all those aren't even the quotes people normally bring up to prove he's a white supremacist.

He didn't write that. The newsletter was a pre internet version of a message board. Where contributors could write in and discuss topics. He wasn't even hands on with the curation

But of course u only did a 5 minute google search to confirm what u already thought.

:umad:Next time come up with a better lie. It's also nice to see you coming out of the closet as MAGA, too. No more pious routine from you.

Lmao cut it out

In 2016 there were only 3 realistic choices.

Hilary: the definition of establishment. History of corruption. Zero personality.

Bernie: Relatively unknown, charismatic, basically a blank slate. Sidestepped the "socialism" stigma by calling it "democratic"

Donald Trump: a$$hole reality tv show star and questionably successor businessman.

Who was I supposed to support?

But back to my original point, the Democrats are in a free fall and instead of addressing that you're in here arguing about Ron Paul who hasn't been politically relevant since like 2012.

Trying to paint people who say things you don't like as racist or evil or sexist or whatever isn't going to scare people into adopting your way of thinking, it's just going to make people stop being honest in public. That's the problem with trying to suppress speech.

And that's how Dems keep getting blindsided by the support that they're losing

:rudy:Again with this. You were a right winger this whole time and just now finally decided to stop pretending you were sitting on the fence. There's too many people around here using these bad faith arguments.

Since you've already answered my original question about your support for white supremacist Ron Paul, you can go on your MAGA way now.
