I’ve never received the pompous, elitist, dismissive “you’re not even worth my response” mentality more from any group than so called Black progressives. It’s all turn into snark and ad hominem attacks.

As someone who truly wants to hear fierce debate from both sides of issues, I’ve been disappointed by this development.

I remember telling posters like @mastermind years ago that this was not a winning strategy. Now we’re starting to see some of these chickens come home to roost. You just can’t just talk down to men, that want to do the right thing, but might not exactly know how.

But hey what do I know? I’m just a working class, straight Black male, that wants to love and protect his Black wife,raise his children, serve God and community and leave my grand children with more than I had.

You’re understanding of how Economies work is kind of scary too. The vast majority of small businesses are b2b not b2c. Plus if the government pays for the great majority of your needs, the majority of that revenue only goes to a very small amount of companies.

In a socialistic society, it’s inefficicent to have more than 1, electric, cell phone, insurance company. You can’t start businesses to compete, bc the main buyer (the government) has no incentive to buy from you.

Socialism increases our dependence on a a few companies and the government, with the possibility we get our human needs met.

And human needs are actually never met due to the humans cycle of desire, we always want more, so no matter what socialism will never meet our needs

They are indications that the average coli poster only knows this when confronted with difficult arguments

I want to see more arguments/debate on here.

I just want it to be more about what we have to say and less about who we are perceived to be.

I think we should have housing for the poor but not everyone. Education is offered by our government. If you go to a community college and/or public college in your state, your loans come out well below the average amount of loans grads have. Regardless of family income.

But ppl want the government to pay for private and out of state college and then complain college costs too much.

The reason we pay for healthcare is because other socialist countries leech off of us. This is well documented, they have “cheap” prices bc they lobby our politicians.
