:mjlol:At Captain Amerikkka being a box office threat to Batman and Superman sharing screen time. Which universe is that happening in?

And even though Bale was an awful Batman, Nolan takes the blame for that. TDK is still bettering every Marvel movie.

Marvels best movie the general consensus is Avengers and if that's their best material I mean it's not even a competition. DC movies tend to be quality over quantity, I wouldn't worry about it.
Marvel's best movie is TWS breh not avengers, get updated :mjpls:

not if they make it like MoS it won't :francis:
It could be a carbon copy of MOS and it will still make money because it is a movie featuring Batman and Superman on screen together for the first time that comes out in March.
Why anyone would even question whether this film would be a success is bizarre to me.

Warner Bros. CEO Says DC Films are ‘Edgier’ Than Marvel

For decades, DC and Marvel Comics have maintained a good-natured rivalry with the latter often referring to the former as “The Distinguished Competition.” Although discussions among fans don’t always maintain quite the same level of decorum, the “DC vs Marvel” debate is one that’s probably not going to be settled anytime soon. That isn’t stopping Warner Bros. chairman-CEO Kevin Tsujihara, however, from throwing some gasoline on the fire.
“The worlds of DC are very different,” Tsujihara said today at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference (per Variety). “They’re steeped in realism, and they’re a little bit edgier than Marvel’s movies.”
The differences between the two studios’ approaches, however, is exactly the reason Tsujihara doesn’t think that audiences will be suffering from superhero fatigue anytime soon.
“The key thing,” he says, “Is that the movies and the television shows and the games, everything looks very different… you have to be able to take advantage of the diversity of these characters.”
Unlike Marvel’s approach, Warner Bros. has been experimenting with multiple live-action adaptations of key properties. “Gotham” can exist on FOX in a world separate from the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice while Grant Gustin can play a small screen Flash with Ezra Miller stepping into the role within the company’s big screen universe.
“The big franchises are becoming more and more valuable,” Tsujihara continues. “You don’t have to explain to the consumer what a ‘Batman v Superman’ is.”
What do you make of Tsujihara’s thoughts on the state of comic book films? Are you primarily a DC fan, a Marvel fan, or does it not matter to you at all? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

I am sure this Batman Vs Superman will do well but it has to be better then Man of Steel. Lukewarm reviews will spread like wild fires over the net and hurt the momentum of the franchise.

The thing is I didn't find MoS edgy the same way I didn't find BB,TDK or TDKR "dark". Se7en was dark, narc was dark, kiss the girls was dark hell twin peaks was dark those Nolan films were not dark at all they just weren't cheesy or in anyway camp like the other batman films..These films having a grainy grayish hue is also confusing a lot of cats into seeing what they want. Just because a flim isn't rich with rainbows and the cinematography of a bright sunny day doesn't mean "dark"

MOS still really wasn't edgy either. it also wasn't really dark; it was serious but for some reason people seem to conflate serious with dark when making their arguments against the movie.

Compared to Captain America: The First Avenger - The Winter Soldier improved in every shape and form. Which made the studio Marvel/Disney real happy.

:mindblown: it's like the brain won't accept that the movie just sucked. So serious tone, humorless characters, grayish tint cinematography and dry overall movie = bu bu but it's dark. And not cheesy like a disney/marvel movie :camby:

Well I enjoyed MOS. Thought it was the best Superman movie and the best comic book movie that came out in 2013.
But I also didn't think it was all that dark...serious, sure bit not dark.
