I like how cam respectfully called wallo's bluff, asking him to recite something from asap rocky.

I hate when people who have been around long enough to know better, try to prop up the mediocre mainstream rappers of today over real legends. Hip-hop is never gon a see good days again.

All of G-Unit minus Yayo was a fumble. Banks, Buck, and Game all should have been bigger than they were.

Game sold 4-5 million without ever knowing how to write a song

Buck went platinum after Juvey’s tour bus leaving him

Banks went double out of the gate and gold on his own merits with a comeback record

Don’t confuse 50 being one of the bigger artists ever with what the nikkax he brought along should’ve been

Didn't Cam in one interview say he chose to new clear Juelz music for his 3rd album after he was on stage with 50?

Banks being mentioned is interesting, because him and Julez were contemporaries …same age, their respective debut albums and follow ups dropped within a year or so of each other… if Julez was supposed to be a legendary all-timer, where does Banks fall into this mix? Cause Banks at his peak was both bigger and more highly regarded than Juelz from how I remember it
Banks had/has way less charisma and star appeal

But he still releasing music, has a fanbase and can tour today

Juelz would not have been as big as Cam says....... but he should not have fallen as low as he did/ is either...

Banks coulda def had that #1 spot. Him losing his 2nd album messed up his momentum but I say they shoulda dropped it anyway. Banks shoulda been dropping every year. People can call him lazy but Banks had a strong work ethic when it came to actually making music.

Banks at one point was my favorite rapper, coulda legit been #1 in the mid 00s.
I'm a Banks fan and I enjoyed that second album, even the bootleg version.....

But there was no hits on there, he wasn't gonna do numbers with that shyt.

He was going to be a megastar I don’t know what you brehs are talking about, he already had hits behind him at the age of 19, he was part of one the biggest and most influential rap groups of the early 00’s.

All the girls lovedd him(which is really the key point) because artists like Drake have literally built their success on the back of a female fanbase, Juelz has the ladies in the palm of his hands, he has everything to be a superstar, he was aligned with Wayne for a reason.
his stock would've dropped if they saw him in a video like this

honestly, I feel its a Harlem rapper thing in general. they're like the least "I need to get out of the hood" set of rappers ever.
they are comfy as hell getting some money, fly and chilling in Harlem for days without a break

Cam seen his number two in Mase become a star then seen what Dame was doing with Jay and just wanted it

also, people are clearly misunderstanding his point when he says Hov level, he literally says in terms of being the father to everybody out of NY in the future.
which I actually take away from that is that Cam is actually underestimating how influential Jim and Juelz actually are/were to the city and to younger rappers like Chief Keef and his crew, and a slew of the young Atlanta rappers whether its Thug/Gunna, Lucci, Takeoff/Offset etc

in 2005 Wayne/Juelz/Jeezy felt like the next superstars
