This is officially the moment in time the Julez wasted potential narrative has been overblown to COMICAL proportions…shyt is Harlem shaking while jumping over that shark in this thread…. We’re basically at “Julez Santana was on the path to becoming the GOAT, but…” at this point :russ:

This shyt reminds me of the running joke in the coliseum where muhfukkas gas the hell outta Penny’s career
Yeah...Cam was definitely gassin the shyt outta Juelz, lol. I thought Juelz was gonna blow too, pause...I thought he was gonna rock the city and all that when he dropped, I was tight too cause I hated them dudes, lol...but possible greatest of all time type shyt? Never.

I was 23 when WTGBM dropped and Elz is older than me :gucci:

I def agree he had next tho. I dunno bout no Hov level but he def coulda been the biggest star in NY from 2006 and on. Banks coulda been too.

Banks being mentioned is interesting, because him and Julez were contemporaries …same age, their respective debut albums and follow ups dropped within a year or so of each other… if Julez was supposed to be a legendary all-timer, where does Banks fall into this mix? Cause Banks at his peak was both bigger and more highly regarded than Juelz from how I remember it

Juelz was the biggest fumble...Peedi Crack was the 2nd biggest.

If either one of em had vision, they'd be moguls now. There is a reason why Wayne was trying to dress like and stand next to Dipset at that time. Juelz woulda been outta here after I cant Feel My Face dropped...outta here!!

All of G-Unit minus Yayo was a fumble. Banks, Buck, and Game all should have been bigger than they were.

Banks coulda def had that #1 spot. Him losing his 2nd album messed up his momentum but I say they shoulda dropped it anyway. Banks shoulda been dropping every year. People can call him lazy but Banks had a strong work ethic when it came to actually making music.

Banks at one point was my favorite rapper, coulda legit been #1 in the mid 00s.

Juelz would atleast be Wayne level if he kept goin. nikka WAS at one point. They was building together. Juelz literally dropped the ball on all of that buzz.

This stupid shyt got the most daps too, I swear dipset always been overrated online, dudes ain’t never went plat. As much as I don’t like lil Wayne dude was the biggest rapper alive for a good time period, when did a milly the first week. Juelz would’ve never been on that level…….Aye!

Game went like 5x platinum. I don’t think he went platinum again but records wasn’t selling like that overall by the time his 2nd album dropped.

Buck took way too much time between his debut and sophomore albums. Welcome To The Traphouse is one of my favorite mixtapes of all time :ehh:

Buck was my favorite rapper at one point too, from like 06-08 or so :ehh:

Game sold well with that first album but his career flamed out very fast. Mostly because of the man himself. He needed someone to guide him but after he fell out with 50 (which he should have never done) he was done.

Rakim even consigned Juelz as being the next one up :wow:

Being in high school around that time, Juelz was everyone’s favorite from Dipset. Even the broads had crushes on him nh….He had 2 albums under his belt at the point and was apart of a classic album ( Diplomatic Immunity). He was apart of Chris Brown’s first major hit.

Juelz and Wayne were neck & neck but Wayne just had more firepower, desire to be great and continued elevating into a superstar while Juelz started going the opposite direction.

We can all say that drugs played a factor but Wayne was on drugs heavy back then too and it didn’t slow him down initially. Juelz just didn’t give a fukk.
