California broke as fukk....what reparations are they going to give?
Has anyone heard of this chick before?
I'm trying to figure out if she's an agent or not.
It's relevant because at 49:10 she talks about Reparations saying that ADOS co-opted the movement. She probably is, but this warrants its own thread or should be in the official ADOS thread in The Root

Thanks guys, but just keep it related to the CA reparations bill, ignore those who are trying to start trouble.
Just trying to understand why HR 40 got panned while everyone in here is clapping and excited for this bill.
Cali ADOS STAND UP
This is a state bill to try to figure out what the state can do for and about reparations. In what way was it involved in slavery and jim crow. California being a free state does need to see how it was involved in those areas and figure out what it can do. It's a state they can't print money like the Fed.
HR40 is a national bill. A national bill that does not guarantee reparations and doesn't already acknowledge that the US gov't has already acknowledge its prime role in the slavery and jim crow is flawed from the beginning. Any language that allows anyone but Aframs to receive reparations is again flawed and needs to be fixed. Especially in a time when the black population is not 98% Afram like it was up until 1980 and has shifted greatly.
It just needs to be updated to better reflect the times.
