Hate them all you want but watching this topic play out, it looks like Tone and Yvette were, once again, 100% spot on about the leadership in this task force :snoop:
This is why they fell out with Darity. He switched up on them in regards to including all blacks and not just ADOS. It was valid back then when they went at him and people called them toxic.

How much is plenty? And what do you do if someone immigrated before they started keeping a record of who immigrated and who was born a slave?
Were there even enough black immigrants RIGHT after slavery to waste the effort researching it in order to exclude their descendants?

The argument was that even IF they came during reconstruction, or during Jim Crow. America isn't responsible for the entirety of the diaspora. As we say on the Coli, HYON.

But I'm sure there was a good number of people coming here especially during the late 1800's early 1900's during industrialization. I don't have data on that to be for sure.

The data has been posted

The amount of black people immigrating during the late 1800 was virtually zero, the handful that did come ended up with descendants of slaves so their offspring would qualify regardless.

Pre civil rights the amount of immigrants within the black community was less than 1 percent, the vast majority of them didn't immigrate until after civil rights. They have no claim to any type of reparations for descendants of slaves.

But I thought "Reparations" was an "Impossible" policy and you can't do "Specific" Policy for Black People. When will people learn that when Black America comes together, we can accomplish anything. This is why we are going "Lineage". Yes we may all be Black but this is a specific claim against the US Government spanning 400 years. A Black Person from South America who's family immigrated to the US 30-40 years ago can't be lumped in with a Black Person whose fam goes back to American Slavery even though yes they can still experience Racism. Affirmative Action failed Black America because they didn't keep it based on Lineage so White Women benefited most. You got some Asians now trying to cancel when it wasn't for either of those groups. They love playing the "We can't do the policy based on race" game even though every Anti-Black policy in the Country was based on race.

Well now we killed that, it's based on specific Lineage. Like the Native Americans and Japanese. Checkmate B!tch. Dominos about to fall all over the Country once this passes. California is one of the richest and biggest States. The Supreme Court would most likely use Black people who don't have the Lineage to shutdown Reparations because it would be unconstitutional. Going with Lineage brings specificity. Also 85-90% of Blacks Descendants of American Slavery in the US. That leaves 10% roughly that aren't. If 90% gets the money, why does those 10% think they will be left out? Ya'll will benefit from us moving up the ladder economically as well. Also the whole "American Can't Afford 50 Trillion" is a lie. This isn't just "One" Check, it's recurring. They damaged us for Centuries, well this check is going to go that long too. 50 Trillion over 100 Years is 500 Billion a year. Basically there will be a specific budget for Black American Slave Descendants. The point is it can be done. Stop letting people gaslight us "We don't have the money". Lies.

Who else was enslaved in the U.S. Sir? What other race would they be?

Of course, some of our ancestors will have Mulatto on the census due to rape/slavery - but the offspring of them are Black on the census.

For instance, one of Great great GF's is listed Mulatto on the 1870 census -- but his wife and children are listed as Black, same household -- he was enslaved as well.

Next census 1880 same family -- all listed as Black/Negro.

I've seen that & had that on my family's records too as well as all kind's of typos

I think you're misjudging my stance. I don't think they do. Never have. I was just trying to speak to it objectively.

Why is Yvette unhinged about this :dahell:

Because she only cares about clout. She thought she was going to become the queen of reparations. She only wants us to get reparations if she is in charge of the shyt.

what is she saying? she blocked me long time ago.
What is she saying?:what:
Somebody earlier in the thread told me to watch her so I listened to her stream from last night at work today.

She basically hawked spit on everybody in Cali :pacspit: Told em they were nothing but fans and asked why they didn't invite her/add her on some list of names giving thanks

Not surprised about Yvette or Tone. It’s sad, but it’s not a surprise. Both could learn how to be a bit more personable.

Where is Dr. Greg Carr from? There is no info on his background online. Is he FBA because I know he’s boule. Is he FBA?? He is single handedly trying to undermine any reparations claims if they are lineage based and that is insidious.
He’s a Pan Africanist Democrat if that makes any sense lol. He’s more than likely a Black American or FBA. Right now he wants the clout to go along with his studies, so he’s going to do what it is his political party wants, because he knows his political party will give him the clout and attention he feels he deserves. Them Black Repubs operate the same. Saw one of them ladies that be on Roland’s show was also in his comments. She’s the same way. These people are not allies. They will not go any further than their political party allows.
