This is all BS from people who are trying to discredit Douglas. Buster Douglas was the only fighter to ever beat Mike Tyson in his absolute prime during his pro career.
Tyson ALMOST won that fight which people like to conveniently ignore for better or for worse.
IMO this is one of the last great performances Mike Tyson ever gave us. He was never the same after this fight and definitely lost most, if not all of his discipline after jail.
no way am i discrediting douglas, he was on fire and was destined to win. Mike founda nice powerful blow to nearly seal the victory..

I think you are because you were implying that it was not textbook dynamite kid. Was this 1985-1986 full of Brooklyn Rage Mike? Nah, but Tyson fought a GREAT fight. He just got fukkED UP, Douglas was popping him all night and its to Tyson's credit that he lasted that long.
Boxers get dropped in sparring all the time. Watch the fight again, Tyson was doing all that he could and actually looked good against Douglas.
