Hes not right. 343 cant even provide basic halo features likw forge and coop and ranked is a joke for how bad the progression is. Thats why people are upset

This game fell off something serious. I had a feeling it was going to be like this when I saw how lacking the options were.

The biggest problem this game has is there's zero incentive to even play it. Progression is complete trash, maps are trash, and they've been lacking content for too long. Battlefield has the exact same issue.
Right now if people wanna play a shooter, they're going to Apex or Warzone. Apex because it has the best ranked mode out of all the major shooters, that keeps you wanting to grind the game. It's the same reason why people keep playing Rocket League, it's got a good ranked mode. And Warzone gets updated the most frequently with content.
These days new shooters are DOA if they don't have a good ranked mode and a steady flow of new content.

Game is still fun. I wish they'd make BR starts default, especially in Big Team. In fact, I think one of the biggest issues with Halo is that alot of the weapons suck; they have limited utility, no range, etc. In favor of unique mechanics that makes them more "specialized".

It's been a stale ass franchise for several generations now.
Why young people in particular should give a fukk about this crusty ass series of games, I have no idea. Same with Gears of War. Just put both them tired snoozefests out to pasture. They're done.
