the ISP im using is white owned am I not suppose to use the internet?

the fukk does any of this have to with Bruno making a pseudo Now Thats What I Call Music complication all of the great funk records in the past and receiving more accolades, credit (and most importantly) money then the artists hes imitating?
Exactly :mjlol:

There are so many smart dumb mutherfukkers on this board man. And the way they try to spin it as pro-Black :deadmanny:

Because the credit and accolades leads to more exposure which in turn leads to more money. But you knew that already. :what:
Who’s responsible for black artists to make more money?

Black people went from doing our own thing not caring what others thought to putting on shows for others for emotional gain on some “oh they like me all is well” stuff while other groups profit.

This is how people like Lil Xan and all them can even be tolerated and straight disrespect culture. Nobody takes black culture serious because people try to regulate to fantasy and entertainment.

When people rapped about reality and struggle others felt it was like watching a fictional tv show that they can turn off at anytime when black people actually have to live this stuff.

Yep,we have pretty much been tricked and brainwashed into assimilating out of our culture and into white culture,all the while so many of them have been assmiliating themselves into ours. Its creating a cultural collision course,where its basically a draw and black people are no more authenticated than whites. It used to be like this back when we were still defiantley black and not trying to fit in.

blacks

blackness<-------------------:pacspit::mjpls:--->whitness/european ways

Now its like this

blackness<----:pacspit::mjpls:----------------->whiteness/european ways

While whites are full steam ahead trying to adopt black culture by the droves,now more than ever.

blackness<-------------------:skip:----------------->whitness european ways

Yes the chart doesn't lie,they are still as white as ever,while outnumbering us in their willl power to adopt the culture as their own.Black people either got sick of fighting becoming europeans,or simply over time being under their thumb in a dominant white society, brainwashing has finally taking its course:francis:.

But the whole point was that it succeeded so much because it came from someone not black. So it’s success is part of the argument :gucci:

WTF:what::what::what:
So, it’s failproof solely because it was an ambiguous filipino-puerto rican?

So, he should do kompa next? Maybe One Direction should do doo-wop?

My point is black people discarded this music and is chasing the strip clubs and ratchet shyt.

If Usher made a new jack swing album at the same time as Bruno Mars and he failed then you have argument.

Can’t fault a man for winning if he’s running unopposed no matter their skin complexion.

OMG bruno is a cutural appropriatoer! Smh. These fake woke clowns are so tiring. Who cares number 1. And for two Bruno makes good music and been Doing The same style since he was kid.. the vids are out there to prove this. If u don't like it don't listen but last time I checked those bands Bruno sampling been eating off his records as well and even doing cameos in his videos.
Wasting time on debating music instead of making it smh

I think people mad Bruno jumped on that wave ..

I listen to and i'm influence by the same music Bruno is influenced by..music listeners crave that old school r&b type sound..

People should stop bytching and start making music...

Dude is musically gifted it is what it is..

It suceeded because the music is good and it is different that what is on the radio.

Funk,and new jack swing inspired music..using elements from tried and true hits is why he is succeeding.

But most artists wanna be on that dark, moody Weeknd House of Balloons,trap type wave. That and Bruno is a talented songwriter, and is just talented. Dude knows how to write music that appeals to a wide audience.

And it succeeded to the extent it did because he’s not black. It’s both.

But you’re one of the main posters that push interracial bullshyt so I would expect you to dismiss race in this topic :hubie:

Why the fukk are you :cape: for dude so much though :mindblown::mindblown::mindblown:
I’m strictly logical. It has to make logical sense. Don’t just blurt out things like that bird in the clip.

Jackson 5 appropriated “Rockin’ Robin” and The Jacksons did the same with “Blame It on the Boogie”.

Those were cac tracks. I like their versions bka covers.

That's not his fault that our artists are and lazy bandwagoners.
Basically this:ohlawd:

No lie I been inspired and been wanting to make 80s funk,new jack swing inspired tracks for years. I can't be mad at Bruno for using his talent to go get that bag...

And also what you put out is what you're inspired by...if funk music is what lights your fire then it is what it is...I have no right to be mad at that..

People always talk about music being so much better back in the day, but when someone gets back to that style and uses that period of music for inspiration people are whining ...and whining because a black artists didn't do it?:mjlol:

If anything i'm mad at most black singers today trying to be on that trap,HOH wave..hell Miguel-Adorn(which alot have said has a Sexual Healing type groove) should've let people know that listeners still like that old school r&b sound.

Mary J Blidge said on a Breakfast club interview ain't no songs for the ladies..brehs wanna be on that moody,dark shyt..it was refreshing to hear The Weeknd drop 'I feel it coming'...it has a 80s inspired toto,michael jackson groove and it is one of his more fan favorite tracks on Starboy.
