I don't know why people think it's good marketing to show the fukking twist in the advertisement of a suspense film

yeah clearly the budget was limited, so they should have minimized what they showed or just did a ton of misdirection.

Also I see in a lot of reviews and I agree that this is just Michael Myers with superman powers vs an actual Anti Superman take. I think it would have been more impactful if they had the kid observe Humans for sometime and simply deem them not worthy, instead of the 'flip of the switch' that happened.

Yall played yourselves thinking this was a superman type story. Aliens, the thing, predator. Aliens crash landing on earth is nothing new. They just mimicked the farm and him growing up as a kid to milk the story. It was like any other psycho slasher/ghost posession movie except the villain had superman esque powerset.
