We all laugh, but a lot of black folks are making good money off Tubi. If you’re an independent director, distributor or producer with rights to a movie, it’s a good platform to place your film.

I’m glad to see black people being creative and making money, even though there’s a lot of janky movies on there.
How do they make money? :ohhh:

The most low budget, ratchet, bootleg, 3 for $10 barbershop dvd movies are in Tubi's Black Cinema section. It's all either gang bangin', dope slangin', and church movies, with a few Nollywood joints thrown in for flavor. Tubi's clearly on that :mjpls: .

A lot of those Detroit hood joints do be fire, though. :blessed:

Hol' up, all the hood movies moved off of Prime Video to Tubi?

Watching Mississippi Turnt Up on Prime while I was bored during work is a singular fukkery experience I can't recommend enough. :mjlol:
