Idk about that. Wiseman’s motor was questioned throughout his career

And Hassan getting overpaid doesn’t mean that he’s a good player. He was traded and is now out the league
Money talks. Hasan Whiteside was an asset before the motor issues. The way Wiseman has has to deal with constant injuries and Gleague stints tells me his motor isn't low imo.

I don't think he is that good. It may be best for the Warriors if he can put up points and cons someone out of some prospects. There were a couple of times when it was clear he doesn't know how to screen properly. He doesn't move that well either.

Of his 5 rebounds, only ONE was contested

Terrible defender. Cant switch, can’t guard the perimeter and he’s and AWFUL rim
Protector. Deandre Jordan outplayed him on BOTH ends. DEANDRE fukkING JORDAN. You woulda thought he went in a time machine and went back to his lob city days. That’s how bad Wiseman is defensively. He continues to get outplayed by bigs, and we act like “oh it’s ok, it was AD. Oh it’s OK, it was LeBron”. No excuses

Dude doesn’t know where to be most of the time. He had 4 fouls in 16 minutes. That’s 1 foul every 4 minute average, and that’s so Laaaaaame. He can’t fukking catch a ball, and he can’t fukking set a screen. I mean my god, how hard is it to set a screen as a 7’1 center? ZERO contact man. No separation between the ball handler and defender.

He’s a bum. Can’t rebound, can’t defend, can’t screen. He’ll score, but it doesn’t matter cuz he gives up those points on defense.

He’s not an NBA player.

By far the most frustrating thing about him. He just sticks his arms out and leans forward, it's almost as if he's afraid of contact.

B-b-bu-but they already had a point guard! :damn:
Whose to say that Melo would still be on the roster at this point and wouldn't have been moved as a means to upgrade the team?

People are having revisionist history about that draft like there weren't legit question marks about a lot of those guys. Even Ant had major weaknesses to the point that Minny tried to move out of the pick, but couldn't get equal value.

That boy got dunked on by the corpse of Deandre Jordan after he did like 80 pump fakes. And there was one play when he was on break and did some completely unexplainable shyt outside restriction. Someone said he’s early McGhee but more like a poor mans Biyombo. Dude just doesn’t have a clue on how to play basketball. It’s beyond his lack of experience

it's a meme at this point how bad Deandre jordan is. flamed out in BKN, flamed out on the Lakers, flamed out in Philly, and STILL outplayed wiseman in his minutes. you cant be serious

Trading the pick before the draft would have been the best option anyways

They tried, but they couldn't find a taker for the pick because it was a down draft as well as the fact that they didn't have an contracts to attach along with it. It's why I won't give them criticism for that Wiseman pick as they didn't want to make the pick no more than Minny did (at the time).
