I've already told the story on here about me explaining that I have sickle cell to a cousin and him going " that's a black disease" but that's not every afro latino. My father went through a lot of fukked up shyt in DR(he's Charlie Murphy black) but unlike a lot of others it made him more accepting of his African roots, he taught my sisters and I from a young age that we were black and are beautiful.
