Why would nikkas have any reason to hate Hatton :what:

He fought 3 level A boxers lost to two of them and the one he did beat was :flabbynsick: and retired right after.

I won't argue that he is a hof fighter I agree with you there but he is not elite.

The same Tszyu was the favorite to beat Hatton so :camby:

I mean what other fighter in his prime did Floyd fight that was the top of his division and in the top 10 p4p lists that had a great victory over another HOF boxer?

Hatton is the closest fighter to that criteria. I mean if we discredit Hatton, I guess we discrediting Floyd too then so go ahead and be my guest. :youngsabo:

He is a hof fighter and a great win but not a W over an elite fighter like it is Marquez. You acting like I'm a feel some type of way if it discredits Floyd to say so, it's no skin off my back breh breh.

Floyd stan alert everybody:camby:

So, when did Manny start taking these steroids,:patrice:, because PRIOR to fighting DLH, he was 47-3, already one of the greatest fighters ever 135 and under, a 4x Champion with a total of 5 victories over 3 prime HOFers (MAB/JMM/Morales), and good victories over Sasakul, Ledwaba, Sanchez, Lucero, Solis, Lario, and Diaz:ufdup:

Marquez all time is a higher ranking fighter than Hatton, but he wasn't elite at 140 or at 147 when he fought Floyd and was brought in as a tune up opponent with a name.

I just can't place that as a higher win than an undefeated Hatton that already won a title at 147 in beating Collazo (Same Collazo that Khan just got his best win in years over) over a past it undersized JMM that just went life an death with Juan Diaz who was a solid B level guy that overachieved in the sport.

If you wanna disagree with that then :manny:

Sometimes it's not always the stature of the fighter, but the circumstances that you fight them in that dictate how good the win will be looked at when assessing greatest career victories.
In essence JMM is just a solid win for Floyd. It didn't do much for his career an all time rankings. Just like a win over Guerrero ain't do much.

True, but ask yourself. At the time when Floyd fought Hatton and JMM. Which victory meant more? Who was the tune up opponent with a name being dragged up to fight at a weight he wasn't proven at after fighting a FOTY against an overachiever. Who was the undefeated cat with the lineal belt in his division as well as a title in a division that was 7 lbs higher?

My bad for even using the word hate in regards to Hatton. He just gets a lot of unfair criticism. I should say he isn't all that respected by hardcore fans, but he was effective at what he did.

Hatton was an elite fighter at 140....he wasn't the same at 147 because he didn't carry the same advantages.

Just like Adrien Broner was elite at 130 and 135, but wasn't the same fighter at 147 because the size and power advantages go away once you start fighting larger opponents.

I don't understand why my brehs don't understand that:to:

i hated how he beat tszyu, who i did like, the way he did...that pissed me off

He did to Tszyu what Maidana wanted to do to Floyd:heh:

Rough house tactics, brawling, wrestling, holding, grabbing, pushing, etc. Just an all around UGLY fight:russ:

Only in England would Hatton have been able to get away with that lol

Fam, I'm sitting here struggling to understand why that concept is so difficult to grasp. :snoop:

But, the thing is Tyszu used to fight dirty and rough too and he was the favorite to win that fight. It's like nikkas forget dude blasted Mitchell out early 5 months prior to that fight. Once Hatton does the Chino special and makes dude quit. nikkas come in with the Tyszu was already a member of Larry Holmes garden retirement facility. If Kostya would have won that fight dude would have prolly went on to fight Cotto or Floyd for another big pay day.

:mjlol: At Ricky getting hitting in the balls and then hitting dude back in the balls right afterwards.

No....Tszyu wasn't washed up. He just wasn't ready for that lmao

Hatton thoroughly dominated him and sent him right into retirement.

Great victory for Hitman.

It's not the concept friend it's just that you ain't finna convince me that Hatton or Cotto are elite at ANY weight.

I just can't grasp how you dudes have a guy elite at one weight and not the weight where he gets his best wins in.
