It's not the concept friend it's just that you ain't finna convince me that Hatton or Cotto are elite at ANY weight.

I just can't grasp how you dudes have a guy elite at one weight and not the weight where he gets his best wins in.

I never said Cotto was elite at 140. That was @Newzz . I already disagreed with him on that in my 1st post in this thread. Cotto was elite at 147 and that was it. It was also the only time he was ever even on a top 10 p4p list.

If you disagree that Hatton was ever elite than that's you. :manny:

In Hatton's case I can't see how you're not elite once you retire the undisputed champ of your division in an upset victory and then get more dominant wins over other top 10 guys in your division. Win a belt in a higher division in a close fight to get another title. Come back down in your best weight division and beat some more solid opponents and eventually lose to another elite undefeated opponent back at the higher division.

I mean if what Hatton did ain't some elite shyt, then half the nikkas boxing now on the top 10 p4p lists ain't elite. :sas2:

Great fighters = A fighters = Elite fighters to me:manny:

Exactly, especially when they beat other A level fighters.

Sounds like you have another spin off thread though.

What makes a fighter Elite? Staying undefeated against B level opponents or beating other A level opponents and catching a loss along the way.

The latter. That was my point earlier in the thread:blessed:

Floyd stan alert everybody:camby:

So, when did Manny start taking these steroids,:patrice:, because PRIOR to fighting DLH, he was 47-3, already one of the greatest fighters ever 135 and under, a 4x Champion with a total of 5 victories over 3 prime HOFers (MAB/JMM/Morales), and good victories over Sasakul, Ledwaba, Sanchez, Lucero, Solis, Lario, and Diaz:ufdup:

I see you neglected to comment on the video I posted, or even refute

because you can't

nothing you have said in this thread is based on reality or fact,

You said something idiotic about Manny being on steroids and immediately nullified any point you were trying to make to me:manny:

Anybody that says Manny wasn't shyt without steroids is either a casual, a Floyd stan, or both. Especially when you dont even have a TIMELINE on when Manny started his alleged steroid usage.

Hatton was an elite fighter at 140....he wasn't the same at 147 because he didn't carry the same advantages.

Just like Adrien Broner was elite at 130 and 135, but wasn't the same fighter at 147 because the size and power advantages go away once you start fighting larger opponents.

I don't understand why my brehs don't understand that:to:

Because you pick and choose when weight matters

It doesn't matter when floyd fights guys, even tho even at 135 guys he fought came in at 147, Judah was 154 when he fought him at 147

Guess what man, Floyd has 6 inch reac advantage on hatton, he would have the advantage no matter what weight classes they had

he still fought the same Hatton style, only difference is he got his cherry popped and his chin was gone, not to mention he was demoralized after the lost, matter of fact his name needs to be added to the Kelly Pavlik thread

So, you're stating he started steroids around the time he fought DLH and he wasn't shyt until steroids. Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd, I already posted his resume PRIOR to fighting DLH:

47-3 record, 4x Champion, considered one of the greatest fighters ever 130 and below with a 5-2-1 record over 3 prime HOFers up til that point, plus victories over Ledwaba, Sasakul, Lucero, Solis, Larios, Sanchez, and Diaz = :camby: your slander.

Hatton has wins over hall of famers too

see this what you don't understand what elite is

Guerrero is elite you just wanna go off accomplishment, shyt, Gatti was elite then

I'm talking skills pac did not look that good at the lower weights, he didn't, he was entertaining because he was often in slobber knockers, like gatti

smaller guys are hurting him, but he glutton for punishment against WW

the speed and power difference happened around the DLH and beyond, thats all i have to say

the tape speaks for itself

but beyond that I ain't even mad he on the shyt, you gotta do what you gotta do

but I'm saying his resume was all that until he fought floyd's left overs
