Of course I knew who pac was, but guess what, nobody was asking for the fight back then, because he clearly was eve worthy to be mentioned

pac was a gatti style crowd pleasing brawler, who took beatings too, which is why there was the suspicion of roids when he rose from just being another guy
Nobody was asking for a Pac/Floyd fight back then because in 03-06 while Manny was having classic fights with Barrera, JMM and Morales it was at featherweight/superfeatherwight.
Plus no one back then really was looking for Floyd like that to be mentioning him as a "big fight" opponent anyway.

Like I said, manny weighed 144 the night of the Barrera fight, he's always been a same size as Manny, nobody tought about the fight because manny was not in his league

the fact he was able to come up in weight and have success is why he was under suspicion in the first place because he didn't display that type of ability at the lower weights

Floyd was still at lightweight in 2003, Manny could have came up to 140, but lets face it, being for a featherweight fight he weighed 144 the night off

only reason Floyd moved up in weight is because he had nobody to fight at the lower weights, he had to get to the names at 47

The David Diaz fight is actually when you see the change in pac

So you telling me at the age of 30, Manny Pacquiao magically becomes faster than ever goes through puberty again, and becomes this great fighter

it's impossible

Manny started a flyweight

Floyd started at superfeather weight

Floyd had a lenghty career at 135, he did just move up to light welter

and when he did he had fights to adjust to weight before moving up to WW

now telling manny a flyweight for starters, who has spent most his career below superfeather weight

is gonna have one fight at light weight, then go straight to fighting welters looking even better than he did at featherweight

If Floyd keep the same ability at 135 at 147, he would've killed everybody in that division in devastating fashion
but it does't work like that when he move up in weight

Never really been impressed by Floyd. great boxer. GREAT. but not one of the best I've ever seen. but he is in this era. I honestly like Andre Ward and GGG more.

An all time great fighter should seek out career defining fights. If Floyd was on the campaign De La Hoya was on in the later years in his career, we'd all look at his record much differently. People have brought Pac up, and rightfully so. I don't care about who's fault it is, but Floyd missed out on an opportunity for a career defining victory that would've pushed him up the ATG ranks. He let past his prime JMM steal that shine. But aside from Pac, Floyd could've fought plenty of dangerous fighters throughout his run. And post DLH fight, Floyd could've fought anyone he wanted.

Floyd stans, like Floyd, want to have their cake and eat it too. He's undefeated and one of the most skillful fighters in boxing history. His resume just doesn't stack up with those other ATGs. And that's because Floyd fought to preserve his Zero, not to build his legacy.
