the better team won
Cuz now ain't the time to get cute...they gey 3 there the receivers probably don't shyt the bed like that afterwards....booty cheeks got tight in the 4th when the game became close...pause...Why shyt on them for a philosophy that got them this far?
You ain't lying it's tough to win in this league...it's easy to go back to purgatory or treadmill status...mf's be taking these conference championship games for grantedAll I know, is that this type of loss can be the type of loss that leaves a "what if" all pre-season... then everyone picks the Lions to win the North again... high expectations... then have close loses... key injuries... and all of a sudden that dark cloud envelopes the franchise again.
The magic is then gone and the Team is searching years for questions.
I mean look at Atlanta, they have been almost in a decade long drought; 7 years I believe since that choke to New England.
With a bad kicker who isn't automatic from there? It was the right call. I'd rather put my faith in the offense to make a play. Goff got it to the right guy, who literally dropped a pass he's caught all year.
Again you’re acting like the FG is automatic. It’s not, given the kicker. This isn’t a video game. Goff literally put the ball in the receiver’s hands and he dropped it. Dunno what else there is to say.Cuz now ain't the time to get cute...they gey 3 there the receivers probably don't shyt the bed like that afterwards....booty cheeks got tight in the 4th when the game became close...pause...
We've been playing this way all season, and it worked. I'm never going to get mad at a coach sticking to his game plan or identity. You go for it because you expect your guys to make plays. Reynolds dropped what would have been an easy 1st down on that first 4th down. I have no respect for arguments that are purely based on hindsight.
If you want to kill someone, kill the OC for going empty backfield on the second 4th down. Campbell did nothing wrong.
Gambling/aggressive play calling during the regular season is buying scratch offs and cheap lottery tickets. Gambling/aggressive play calling today with a trip to the Superbowl on the line was gambling while being three months behind on your rent and having to pay back or serve time for a PPP Loan that you scammed from the government. Y'all gotta separate low stakes from high stakes gambling. Its levels to this sh*t.They've been one of the most aggressive teams in the NFL for a couple seasons now and it got them the #3 seed and a trip the NFC Championship game after decades of incompetence.
Because the Coli is obsessed with being Monday Morning QB
If they had gone away from that philosophy AND LOST, then you would have had threads saying:
"Why didn't they do what got them there? They've been aggressive all season.. why are they being conservative now in the biggest game of the season"
I've seen the conservative playcalling fuk you over (2020 NFC Championship game going for the FG instead of on 4th down at the end of the game and offense never got the ball back)
No matter what you can't win in sports, cause social media/talking heads will just pivot
He failed 3X at the 2 point conversion instead of kicking the PAT to tie the game. That was a message from the football gods that aggressive play calling will do you in at the end. They did and that's why you take the points on the road. Levi's sounded like a fukking funeral.....then meathead started playing Madden and that got the crowd back into the game. Thank you, Dan Campbell!
Here's a question, say the Lions scored a TD to tie the game with the extra point. You think Dan goes for it or he kicks the extra point? I think every other coach in the league kicks it. Dan, who knows?
But didn't he do some fukkery shyt against Dallas and that cost them home field advantage in the playoffs? Could have played this game at home (yes I realize the 9ers probably have their starters in and win the last game of the season and nothing changes).
