totally. i liked your point about starbucks workers.. training cops to be polite.
you could fix the training and it would definitely help, but theres another problem, and it runs much deeper
the profession itself attracts anti-social people. not anti-social as in loner, anti-social as in anti-social personality disorder.
people with a chip on their shoulder, for whatever reason. failed high school football player, dry dikk racist, incel type who becomes a traffic cop to rape women (happened here), et cetera. it attracts people who want to control other people! you need a certain personality type to be a GOOD cop and most people are just not it. you have to be analytical and fair, you have to have a real passion for justice. cops are a$$holes who want a trophy for shooting someone.
i suppose the right training could root out the wrong type of brains, but it would take a lot of reform, and constant vigilance in oversight. bad cops arent held responsible as it is.

Miami got some of the dumbest police officers ever. These nikkas aren't intelligent, just need to barely have HS diploma and be bilingual some how and youre in.

Dude probably went to school out there, barely graduated, probably has a 3rd grade reading level and saw how easy it was to be a cop out there.
You don't but cops expect it and typically respond negatively to anyone who flexes this right

And NEVER consent to a search
But also never resist, even if the police officer is wrong - that's where they forfeit their case and you are eligible for settlement
They will always try to get you for resisting arrest as like a bonus charge so if you feel the interaction is going south and you are on camera, whether body cam or dash cam, offer your hands up together and in front of you (open palm) and say "am I being arrested?"

You know that Instagram guy who asked all the people in luxury cars what they do for a living? I want a channel just like that, that goes up to police that are on duty and throws that question at them on camera and that needs to go viral, we can all do it together split the proceeds, maybe sell some merchandise or something.
