Danny Trejo as Tuco
John Lequazamo as Gus
Sofia Vergana as Skylar

Danny Trejo was in "Breaking Bad" though. He might as well play Tortuga again.

But if they get Sofia Vergara to play Skyler this shyt might trump the original. :ahh:

As someone who has a half latin wife, I have watched a lot of Spanish cable tv. You guys underestimate Latin production values. I can assure you they can hire similar caliber guys to shoot and produce the show, and those actors chosen are trained veterans. If the writing is strong (and if they have English subtitles) there's no reason this can't be a dope show.

I know people who are straight from Juarez, and still have family over there. I've mentioned this before.

Trust me when I tell you that they do not give a single solitary fukk about a white character taking over the Mexican drug game on a fictional TV show. They kinda got more pressing real life issues to deal with.

Breh, if they're naming the main character Walter Blanco....matter of fact, pardon me, I gotta laugh at that shyt a sec....

Anyway, if they're doing that, it's obviously a straight up remake. Whether or not he's white is irrelevant. The character arc is going to be exactly the same, from what I've heard there is no plans to change the premise.

Remaking "Breaking Bad" with none of the original creative elements would be like me handing you a kid's paint set I copped from Wal-Mart and telling to you finger paint the Sistine Chapel in my garage.

Fred.

Well if they are blatantly redoing the show just with Spanish actors :sadcam::flabbynsick: the basic premise of a teacher breaking bad Is adaptable a straight remake becomes a parody . Certain elements of breaking bad fit only America and that character any other region has to change it
