What's the context for this? I don't remember

When Hank kills the cousins in Season 3 "One Minute" the one cousin he shoots in the head drops the axe and the axe lands and sticks into the concrete.

yeah he said that earlier. I could see that on the first attack for sure since he was there, but it no one was around on gus' team to find out about that second one :stopitslime:

If they got dope moving from point A to B, and it never reaches B, they're gonna go look for it. Especially after what happened to Mike's shipment.

Wait, didn't Marie call Skyler talking about Walt was being spotted all over town or am I just cooking? :dahell: what are you man talking about in this thread

She said people were calling saying he's all over the place, so that's why I'm :what: at people saying the cops should've scooped up Walt. If he wanted to go to Grove Cafe Walt could've had Skinny Pete and Badger say they seen him two other places on the other side of town.

Or hell, it could've just been a coincidence that people were calling in. The same shyt happened with Whitey Bulger in real life:

http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/news/nation/2011-06-23-Bulger-mobster-FBI-arrest-Boston_n.htm

At one point in the FBI's 16-year pursuit of Bulger there were sightings of the accused murderer on two continents.

Reports of the whereabouts of Bulger and Greig were so frequent and — often — so wrong that Tom Fuentes, a former FBI assistant director, says Bulger assumed the ubiquitous, mythical existence of Elvis.

"He was everywhere," Fuentes says.

He bought the M60 from Jim Beaver in Season 5 Episode 1, the same man who sold him the .38 snub nose revolver in Season 4 Episode 2.

Beaver made Walt assure him that the M60 wouldn't cross the border into Mexico when they exchanged the money in the bathroom.

I swear reading this thread it makes me think a lot of people didn't actually watch the entire show.

Just started watching this again. How fukking stupid was Hank

By episode 4, Walt should have been in jail

Recap:

Crazy 8 was a dea snitch directly to Hank. He snitches on his cousin

Walt asks Hank to please go on that ride along

Next thing crazy 8 and cousin go missing

Hank finds gas mask that belongs to Walt's school

Hank finds more cook stuff missing from Walt's school

Walt is 1 of maybe 4 people to have access to all the missing stuff. 1 of 1 to know what to take

Hank finds out meth is purest of all time. Dea lab guy says he couldn't even make that

Hank knows Walt is chemistry teacher and former company genius with cancer no money and nothing to lose

Hank knows new player is in town

Doesn't even question the nikka

Future clues will always lead to Walt. Still never questions him. Not once.

This would be fine if he was some bumbling idiot. He's the smartest guy in his office and constantly being promoted and awarded. But never once even asks the question of "maybe it's Walt"

I always just assumed that its because of how close he was to walt....I know hes a dea agent and should technically be "smarter" than that, but think about how many people got thrown in jail and the family had no idea they were into drugs, or guns etc, and even after the guilty verdict still dont believe they are guilty. :manny:

Couple problems here just skimming your post....I'll number them.

1. The ride along was actually Hank's idea. Walt initially didn't even show much interest.

2. The janitor took the fall for all of this. So after he's in custody, and nothing else comes up missing....why would Hank continue to suspect the school?

3. The major problem with saying "Hank should've known it's Walt"....is Hank knew Walt for years prior to the series. So the idea that he should take context clues....and figure out his nerd brother in law is actually a murderous drug lord....is :dead:

Side note, there was red herrings all over the place during Hank's investigation. Saul even had a fake Heisenberg get arrested in season 2, which time line-wise is a few months into Hank's investigation. By the time Hank's investigation got back on track he's shot, and out of commission. The next time his investigation picks up it's Gale. Then Gus. Then finally, Walt.

This.

Dennis Rader was a serial killer and his wife of 34 years had no idea. In real life.

Granted she's not a DEA agent but once you think know a person....how they act, think, what they're capable of....it's virtually impossible to change your perception.

nah bro... none of that shyt counts... cause i'm talking about episode FOUR... so we don't even get to the red herrings and the murders cause there were none at that point

the janitor took a fall and 1 ep later hank says it was not the janitor and all he had was some weed... that's why he keeps looking

i'm not saying hank would have caught walt... HE NEVER EVEN ASKED HIM ANY DAMN QUESTIONS

let me tell you how even the regular police on first 48 work

you make a list of who could do it... you go down the list, talking to them, asking whereabouts, seeing if alibis check out, QUESTIONING THEM

hank never even did any of that... even after simple evidence would tell you that walt was right there for every part of the story up to that point... and was the only genius chemist on a list of 4 possible people to do it... FOUR.. suspect list was 4 people long breh

i love the show too... but ain't no way in hell

i'm just talking about questioning it... he never even had the basic, ok walt i know you didn't do this.. but i have to cross you off the list... where were you, have you ever cooked meth, blah blah blah

if anything.. he could have came to walt like, damn our guys say you can't even get it that pure... as a chemist, how would someone go about this... seeing how they got the shyt from YOUR lab

nope

nope

Breh your time line is off.

By episode 3 Hank already suspects whoever the "new player" is killed the DEA's snitches.

So we're not talking about just a chemist. We're talking about a murderer.

cornerhouse_ustv-breaking-bad-season-1-pictures-11.jpg

This guy is a killer. :mjlol:

"Hey Walt did you cook this meth"....aight cool. If you want to cite First 48 I could see them questioning everybody, off GP.

"Hey Walt are you cooking meth and in the streets killing snitches"....:what:

The leap in logic is too far.

Also keep in mind an episode later Hank finds out Walt has cancer. An ep after that they do the "talking pillow" scene where Walt can barely keep from crying.

So you're basically saying Hank is supposed to piece together that Walt is a murderous drug dealer when, from Hank's perspective, he's the frailest he's ever been. Both emotionally and physically.
