Numbers don't lie
:usure:

Beal is averaging better numbers and has been more consistent (which is saying something) than all those six players. He's had five 20+ point games straight. None of those aforementioned players have even come close to that this season.

Better than harper?
read what I said.

He not the best athlete in this area. Ovi and Bryce clearly are. I said he is the only one that really cares about this area. Neither of them do. Ovi lives in DC just to play hockey and Bryce will be gone because the Lerners more than likely wont pay up.

He started the year off well. Both his playoff runs have been impressive.

But the kid's consistency is driving Wiz fans insane.

His flaws remain. He can't draw fouls, he's only a mediocre defender, and he's really not even that great of a shooter. He hasn't even cracked 80% from the FT line.

His ORtg is 99! I think people need to really consider how easily replaceable this guy is. He is, at best, an average SG, and that's only if you give him the benefit of the doubt due to injuries suppressing his performance. The following SG's are unquestionably better than Beal so far this season:

Harden
Butler
DeRozan
Barton
Fournier
Thompson
Miles
Lamb
Oladipo
McCollum
Wade
Ginobili
Burks
Ellis
Korver
Redikk
Matthews
Harris
Knight
Bradley

If he doesn't improve... dramatically... there there is no way he should get the max. It's hard to justify paying him more than $8M or so.

Coaching is also a big issue. And that's a wild card. But this regime of Ted Leonsis never makes changes unless it all collapses.

Someone will give him the max and wizards will match. How it always works

Bradley Beal is 22yrs old, and we look at him like he should be playing like he's 27. There is a major difference
The reason Young Bradley is so coveted is because he has shown he can at times play like he's 27, other times he resorts back to Kid Icarus status. Signing John to a Max was highly questionable by most at the time, turned out to be a steal :manny:
I feel Brad should get something similar even tho the salary cap has changed. The only real issue becomes, would somebody try to steal Bradley away for a max? Wiz might let him test, then match whatever offer he gets. Restricted Free Agency FTW :blessed:
