if you have a wide foot stay away from the 29. i have wide feet, wear size 13, and the 29 were too tight around the mid foot. had to return them. i've heard good things about them if they fit comfortably. haven't tried the 31.

my dedicated hoop shoes are a pair of lebron 12 and jordan superfly 4. the lebrons are my favorite, stable, solid, good cushioning. the jordan's feel more cushiony, but are sloppier meaning my foot slides around more in them. not a fit issue, but the material just isn't as solid as the lebrons. both are good for wide feet. just my 2cents.

Jordan's in general must have slippery soles or something cause one of the sneaks I ball in the 29's stay sliding in them jawns.
