Contending teams had been trying to get Derozan to take a paycut for years and him and his agent played right into their hands by being greedy.

Caleb Martin is a situation of being a year too late in cashing out like his former Heat peers did.
Yeah his best option now is just ring chase. Sign with Boston for the vet min. At least you get a ring outta this.

He has way too much pride to come off the bench right now.

He'd sign with the Jazz before he signs with a team that intends on using him as a 6th Man

WE want the Spurs to wait and like the Chris Paul deal. Pop probably is ready to be a playoff contender now and will convince himself that his team is one with Demar. Wemby will add 4-6 points to his average just from the passes Paul will give him not to mention his natural improvement. Still would be closer to a play in team unless CP3 has more then i think in the tank and one of the other young guys takes a big step forward.

this ain't a shot at you, but like.... i don't know why people think chris paul is still good

he's literally not even tonyparkerincharlotte good. and the only reason paul looked serviceable in GS is because of steph and the level of spacing the warriors always have.

add in the fact that chris slowed down the warriors offense while the spurs had a top 5 pace last year too? they're not suddenly fighting with any of the play-in teams from the west. and this is also a great year to be bad too.

chris came to SA to get into coaching quicker. he's not putting that team over.

Spurs had a Top 5 pace to end up with a 22-60 record

what's confusing? he put up his worst season ever on a team that had far more ways to hide his flaws *and* the obligation to prop him up to make the poole trade not look as bad.

the spurs are built to cater to wemby, not him - and slowing down an offense that can't space the floor at all only makes it easier for teams to defend SA, not harder.
