Miami literally donā€™t have the assets for a player like Mitchell. No one wants Hero plus BS.

Take Mitchell out of it. If a player is on an expiring deal, his value is cut in half.

We canā€™t pretend that Tyler, Herro, Jamie Jacquez, and Niko Jovic arenā€™t valuable if you want to.

Smart, smart contracts right there for the Thunder

Having them on 4 and 5 year deals, they could raise their game and become really good players and the last 2 years of their contracts would be a steal of the NBA

Similar to the Celtics signing Hauser for 4 years at like $2 mill a year when he was a rookie

also signing pritchard 4-year, $30 million contract extension

And I think this will be the way going forward for many teams, sign young players to cheap long deals and hope they pan out. Or you'll be payiong like 20 mill plus

If he was that valuable as you say, then he wouldnā€™t have been on the trade block as long as he has.

I think fit matters to a certain degree. Mobley/Allen just really don't work well together. I don't think Mobley will ever shoot well enough for that to make sense long term. If they get back a piece or two that maybe isn't as good as Allen(or Mobley if they trade him) but fits the team better it's a net positive
Yea, Mobley needs to be in the gym refining/defining what his o-game will be. If he's not gonna have a jump shot, then fine. Bring in a stretch big to pair with him, and he needs to be perfecting jump hooks and proper footwork and touch around the rim.

my dumbass thought kelly oubre signed for 16.3 mill a year, but he signed for 2 years for 16.3 mill total./

Why :dahell:

He came back on a cheaper deal to give us flexibility. Now we bout to trade Reed and get another mid level piece

Where does DeMar go from here?

Bro definitely thought that the Bulls were going to give him a BAG and reportedly turned down a 2 year 80M deal because he wanted more years.

He wasn't expecting AKME to practice common sense and realize that he wouldn't get that number from ANYONE else this offseason. shyt's crazy

This front office TRIED their HARDEST to continue down this MID path. DeMar should fire his agent
