Very close fight, a bunch of those rounds could've legit gone to either guy

All in all I think they got it right, but I was expecting at least one judge to call it a draw

Rematch at the Amalie Arena this winter, make it happen!

I thought Shawn Porter was aggressive but Thurman landed the cleaner shots..Thurman basically showed he can deal with a swarm type of fighter. I feel anyone that gives Thurman time to reset will get beat because Thurman is pretty fast and accurate. This fight was a good one.

It was a great fight still don't know how Thurman won this
few clean counter / rounds is not enough in it's own for me except if they KD or KO the opponent which didn't happen here so... :yeshrug:

other than those few clean counters from Thurman if I'm thinking back at the fight, the first picture comes in my mind is Porter piling up Thurman on the ropes and maul him... and that says it all

and I don't think so that all these types of fight should just lumped into the same "busier vs cleaner guy" category as if I would favour the busier guy on every fights... There are levels in this. Mayweather for example usually wasn't that busy later on but it was still clear that he was the better man, he controlled the pace, the fight played out like he wanted, didn't let himself pressed and bullied too long. Thurman didn't control the pace, most of the time couldn't keep Porter off and even though he landed a few shots which rocked Porter, Porter usually came back at him half minutes later like it would be nothing and continued to dominate Keith in the ugly inside fighting.

Props to Thurman for standing his ground against such an awkward powerhouse as Porter is and for not breaking down mentally and overall he seems like a great guy but in my book he lost this...

I will most definitely rewatch it though, especially that I watched on stream.

how he proved that with a few good counters when otherwise he let himself being bullied and piled up to the ropes?

Thurman's hard shots mean more when porter is taking them, reset then its back to stalking, contrary to porter big shots who had Keith who back peddled and turn his back and ran...boxing makes me fukking sick sometimes...The fight wasn't close at all, 7-5, 8-4 type fight where Porter should of had a commanding lead although he was gassed by 11, porter hit him with concussive clean shots like every other round here..pissed at the fight, super pissed about the commentary, and super pissed boxing fans want to pretend Thurman won the crowd saw it right, but as long as we lie and rewrite facts we are campaigning for these networks rotten agenda's for free shyt won't change..

Porter manhandled him for one, he hit Porter with his best shots and couldn't come close to dropping him. The last time he "rocked" Porter wasn't even hurt just unbalanced, also when Thurman hit Porter with a big shot Porter threw back in didn't retreat, it was only one time he got quickly tied up and was hurt, Porter hurt Thurman everytime he had him against the ropes man this nikka body was red lmao, he was beating his ass like a slab of ribs out rocky lmao.

Thurman was the one breathing hard in the corner not Porter, but yall only count "big shots" yeah thurman landed a few left hooks in rounds he was losing to steal them in the judges eyes.

It was a close fight, but Thurman scored when he needed to, could've went either way, but the fact Porter bullied him so easily, doesn't bode well for Thurman agaisnt the likes of a Kell Brook or Spence who are strong guys.

Porter also walked through his jab literally felt it was no threat lmao, He respected Broner's punching power more than Keith's lmao

That round had nikkas in my section like :leon:...no feeling out shyt..they said fukk the ring rust we coming to fight...can't wait to watch this shyt again later

One thing I was surprised about is how Porter seems to have a lot of fans...2 nikkas on each side of me were raving hard about him
Porters does a lot of PR shyt in NY. That's why they wasn't worried when they wanted to fight at the Barclay's. They been to a couple schools and everything.

Also they Gained a lot of fans from that Paulie fight weird to me and you because we think that nikka is a struggle(I do like the way he fought yesterday).

I actually thought they both showed a few things. Just one of those 50/50 fights we haven't seen in a long ass Time.

I don't think he got enough credit for his body work. But then again the rounds were to close to call.
Ike I said, you either like the volume or the big flashy shots.
