I'd actually love to hear a BoldLib project over some super weird beats. I think it'd be dope.
Breh...that would be crazy

Really I felt the beats were a lot more melodic and smooth on this one. Vs turpentine, Steel Wool, and some others on Bo Jackson.
nah there's definitely something melodic and smooth and warm even about it but it's still in some dirt. Those you mentioned are definitely harder beat beats but even those sound way brighter than the way these do. This shyt sound like soundtrack to some film noir murder mystery shyt. It's like a warm darkness in the rain.

This one here is an interesting bag because Great Adventures, No Laughing Matter, and Bumps and Bruises are incredibly soulful and smooth. And then joints like Moth Flame, Francis, and Hot Water Tank are some of the most menacing sounding joints they've done together, period.

So there's not much in between on here. Bo Jackson had a lot of joints that sounded tough, but maybe not quite menacing. Like Steel Wool that you mentioned. EPMD, Fake Flowers, First 48, Brickmile...Flight Risk was the most outright menacing joint on Bo Jackson IMO. Turpentine was smooth but I don't think of it as pure soulful in the way I think of some of the ones on this new joint.

Bo Jackson sounded really colorful and vibrant to me, and not as dark as this or Price of Tea.
