Nah Benny most recent releases been ass. Boldy more consistent imo.

I'll take Tana Talk 3, Plugs I Met I, Plugs I Met II, Burden of Proof, A Friend of Ours, Stabbed and Shot over Boldy's top 5 projects.
Benny arguably was the best rapper in the game from 2017-2021
That album with 38 spesh - trust the sopranos is fire too

I'm not sure Boldy has a bad project recently, whereas Benny has been so bad for awhile that I'm not sure I want to check for whatever comes next. The nonstop super nikka drug mastermind shyt is played out and he has no other pivot. I like the way Boldy talks about drug shyt from multiple angles, tells compelling stories, is funny and keeps shyt fresh with the slang. With Benny you know exactly what the flow and punchlines are gonna be before pressing play.

Should have been clear, I agree with you. Benny's most recent work has been ass imo. I feel like he lost his inspiration and is now a one trick pony relying on his tales from the past but is not able to make it fresh or interesting.
Hmm not sure I can agree. Sure Benny has more work but I put Super Techmo Bowl above most of those projects you mentioned, the only exception being Tana Talk 3 and Plugs I met one. I feel Benny hasn't been as good since those projects which is why I can't put his discography above Boldy. You can't judge off how many releases but quality overall and Boldy rarely ever misses.

Boldy's lack of energy used to drive me crazy, lol.
But dude is a dope storyteller, like you said. He knows how to write in a way that makes you visualize a lot of what he's saying, and that ain't easy. He can also do the drug talk thing without making it sound redundant. Benny gets boring after awhile. Same flow, same approach to everything, etc. There's been no growth at all in his music since day one. Which is why I still think Machine is the best MC in Griselda. He can do it all. Just needs the right production, and he's untouchable.
