I fukk wit Boldy but I ain’t gonna hold u I’m type sick this ain’t the Roc Marci joint. Would’ve sealed the year for me.
I think this is an in-between project. I think most of these songs were recorded during the Bo Jackson sessions, and 4 of them are on the deluxe vinyl edition of Bo Jackson. I think they had a ton of songs that made for way too much for one album, but they thought the material was all good enough to release. I think the next official album will be longer, with features, and might go away from the Bo theme.I remember Al saying he wanna do a trio of albums with Boldy how Gibbs did with Madlib, do you think this is part of the trilogy?
I didn't have the highest expectations for Bo Jackson just because I loved Tea in China so much, but I ended up liking it more, and I've definitely listened to Bo Jackson more since it dropped than I listened to Tea in China in the same time period.Bo Jackson was solid, maybe not as memorable as Price of Tea or My 1st Chemistry Set to me. Hopefully this one ends the year on a high note
That's fair. I'm mad at me too. I still think it's dropping anytime now. When's the last calendar year Roc Marci didn't drop an album? It's been at least half a decade right?I fukk wit Boldy but I ain’t gonna hold u I’m type sick this ain’t the Roc Marci joint. Would’ve sealed the year for me.
I saw Boldy and his son chilling at Alc’s in that new Earl video you can tell he’s Uncle Al for realI think this is an in-between project. Honestly I think they're gonna go more than a trio of albums too. I think they'll probably just keep making projects forever. They've become legit best friends and record all the time, it seems.
Checking that song now. Hadn't heard it yetI saw Boldy and his son chilling at Alc’s in that new Earl video you can tell he’s Uncle Al for real![]()
It was an interview with Alchemist where he was talking about Bo Jackson being the beginning of a three album run he wanted to do with Boldy, since this is going with the Bo Jackson theme I thought this was part of itHe made more than then three with boldly, now.
