ngl I'm disappointed. Yes they dropped a top 5 album this year but man I was hoping for Roc Marci or Spitta...
I feel you. But they're still both right around the corner. shyt, I still wouldn't be surprised if we got one of them in the next few weeks. Maybe even before 2022.

Al said on that blowout interview that he's going pedal to the floor and wants to keep the same release tempo as 2020-2021 if not increase it.

I'd have to really sit and think on it, but he'd cleanly in my top 3 right now too. It's been a cool twist of events, because I thought he was super average back when I first heard him in 2012 or so.
Bo Jackson and Pray For Haiti are just two amazing bodies of work:wow:

I can’t lie I been a fan of Boldy so to finally see him get his flowers is dope as hell:mjcry:

I still believe Roc is gonna drop soon
100%

I agree.

We're about to feast on a lot of stuff. Conway just confirmed a Lulu sequel is on the way too, and I've heard some rumors that Tana Talk 4 is gonna be a double album, with one half produced all by Alchemist and the other half all produced by Daringer. So we damn well might have a full Benny and Alc project on the way too. If it's not a double disc, it's still just the two of them on the beats.

Half Moon Bay
with Currensy should drop Q1 2022 also, and there's a gang of other projects not announced yet. I've heard talks about another Arman Hammer album and another Step Brothers album too.

Vince Staples was saying him and Earl were supposed to drop an Alchemist produced album also, he said he already recorded all of his verses:whew:

@TheDarceKnight

Biggest thing about Bo was his production

Very cinematic writing, and a big sound

I hated the 28 song mixtape era and his first two joints had to be close to 50 songs together because they were put together so well

He fell off a little bit when he did that trap tape and felt like he was chasing sounds--which is fine

Dude is consistent...crazy, he's kinda up there with Curren$y lowkey (consistency wise)

Good info. Yeah, I have a hard time with some of those old tapes because they're so many songs.

I think Boldy and Evidence are two of the most improved emcees ever. Boldy always had a smooth flow, but man he just skates on every beat. His ability to find a pocket on super off-kilter and weird beats is super impressive. A lot of rappers wouldn't even try to rap on a beat like Speed Trap. Let alone do it and stay in a pocket while painting a vivid picture. But then he can be simple too. He rapped 48 bars on First 48 and rhymed them all with a long A sound. Great/date/plate/scrape/faint/tank/etc. And it didn't get stale.

I think Boldy's flow is as smooth and versatile as basically anyone right now.

I'd actually love to hear a BoldLib project over some super weird beats. I think it'd be dope.

I'll go back through more of his early catalogue too and listen to the joints you posted. Daps and rep.
