Glad you noticed. Old school Jay is a huge inspiration for Boldy, and Jay’s favorite hiphop album of 2020 was apparently Price of Tea. Boldy even has a lot of Hov homage bars on there.

hell, now that I think about it, even the GOAT GOAT producers we laud ain't have straight 20 year runs.

Other cats we (or the industry) will be like " oh shyt that's so and so's artist/oh shyt they produced a track on this album!"

But Alc been dropping just crazy shyt, albums on albums on albums full of beats for 20 straight years.

What's I'll too is he really evolves all the time. An Alchemist beat in 2021 is so different from his beats from 20 years ago, or even 5 or 10 years ago. Yet there is something that makes you recognize all of the as his beats.

I'm really starting to appreciate Boldy btw, took a while to get into his style.

I'm really starting to appreciate Boldy btw, took a while to get into his style.

Once his style connects though Paints crazy pictures. Slick word play. Ridiculous flows. Boldy's a beast.

Dude is legit one of my favorite rappers regardless of who's on production at this point.

Bonus points that he barely uses social media and isn't mr twitter finger unlike a lot of other rappers these days
