Sure.
(Pretty basic list, and I can’t promise nostalgia isn’t fukking with my judgment)

1. ALC
2. Primo (he made the music of my youth. I’m a little sad he’s not #1 now)
3. Just blaze
4. Rza
5. Pharrell/Neptunes

honorable mention Timbo

and I love 9th, heatmakerz, dilla, and so many others. But can’t rank em above those guys.

feel free to post yours if you have time.
I think my list as far as personal favorites is probably Primo, Alc, Madlib, RZA, and Havoc. If it was an objective best list instead of personal favorites, I'd probably replace Havoc with Dilla or Dre. Pete, Nottz, Just Blaze, and Neptunes are honorable mentions too.

ICECOLDBISHOP is the feature on Hot Water Tank, and he's a Detroit rapper. I think he actually has a pretty decent sized fan base.
Not feeling the voice … shyt throws the track off in my opinion…..thought it was girl honestly

Listening to this now and it just makes me angry how he/she almost ruined a hard ass track.
I might be the only one but I liked the verse :manny:

I'm a huge tarheel fan and Rasheed Wallace is in my top 3 favorite UNC players, so I liked the bars about him and the Trailblazers and Hawks, and I thought the part about hogtying with Xmas lights was funny.

I don't know. Super weird rapper, but the voice reminded me of Danny Brown and it was eccentric and weird without being super annoying. I was definitely glad it was 16 bars though. I would wanna hear way more. I definitely liked that verse more than this Lonnie's verse on here

Bo Jackson is my surprise of the year. Saw the OT here, queued it up for a drive out of town I had to make the next day and was like dammmmn wtf :ehh:. Idk why but the 3rd Person joint had me in a zone. I only gave this new joint a quick listen but I like what I've heard so far. Feels more more melodic.

Just want to ask everyone but we all agree that Alchemist is the producer of the year right?
On Alfredo alone (I know it was last year) that argument could be made. shyt was absolute perfection.

I remember 9th used to actually treat it like a 9-5. He'd wake up and do beats until the business day winded down. Actually, one of the big reasons he first stopped recording in the studio with Phonte and Pooh is because Phonte and Pooh were night owls that liked to be in the studio later on, and 9th liked to be in the studio earlier in the day.

There's also a big mindset among the early bird crowd where they feel really good knowing that they're grinding while other people are sleeping. I'm big into BJJ and martial arts, and some of my teammates that train early morning so they like it because they know they're getting better while their opponents are still at home asleep. At the very least I think this mindset makes people think they have an edge.
in entertainment it's more of, i got to juggle a social life/meetings/networks while actively upgrading my own skillset.

it's best to get your creative shyt out early sometimes cuz all that other shyt can stress you out in a way that makes it hard to relax and create.

also it's easier to end the day knowing you got YOUR shyt done first in the day before anyone else could use your time.
