Not sure... don't know if there's any empirical data stating one way or another... but I feel like when I see reverse stock splits with an increased price... it's very short-lived and only because there are enough dumb people buying because they use sites like Yahoo as a guide, seeing CERE is up 600% for the day, assuming there's a compelling reason to buy.
Who's the mod who runs the stock trader section on the site?
I bought starbucks last week (anticipating their 2-for-1 split) [150 Shares @ 95.42] totaling 14313.00. It splits today and now the site is showing 150 shares at the split price and I lost 7179? Either I need another 150 shares or the $7179 back
looks like its @Brooklynzson
now that I'm looking at the stock trader thing I bought something called Relypsa and I'd be up 50% on that trade had I done it in real life.

I believe after the split, microsoft or someone similar will buy hpq (hardware, computers) and hpe (HP's enterprise business) will move on, making HP essentially an enterprise company. Thats why the ceo Meg Whitman is becoming ceo of the enterprise unit. Thats why hp bought aruba networks for 3Do you believe in the possibility of an HPQ acquisition
