The majority of my oil gains from yesterday are gone now .

what are you using to play oil with? USO? an ETF? options?

if it gives you any comfort the Exxon Mobil merger signaled a bottom in oil prices in 1999 and we just had Shell buying BG in a huge move yesterday/today. Of course the past doesn't indicate what will happen in the future.

I just have 50 shares of UWTI. I'm not stressing about the losses at all. Also, i'm going long on oil rebounding at some point (maybe next year ). The whole market is volatile right now, so the daily swings doesn't phrase me at all.
