You aren’t losing money though. You only lose money when you sell. You bought stocks and still have the stocks you bought. Just because at the moment the price people are willing to pay for what you own went down doesn’t mean you’ve lost anything.

there's a difference between large scale/institutional bears and people who have barely any skin in the game always hoping for dips. most these small time retail trade bears have small portfolios or just started investing so they have nothing to lose, thing is, they aint really buying the dip they prayed for either
