I don't really have a routine. I basically just go the gym for 2 hours and work out. I think that's part of the problem. You got a suggestion for a routine? I basically wanna lose the fat on my stomach and bulk up the rest of my body.

i lift 4 times a week

tuesday-lower body (i throw in a a few upper body exercises on this day cuz its hard for me to squeeze them in 2 workouts)
thursday-upper body
saturyda-lower body
sunday-upper body

a lot of guys on here are having really good results with the PHAT routine

just get a plan. anything will be better than you hitting the gym and just doing random stuff.

clean up your diet too

you should try to get a gram of protein per lb of bodyweight, lift heavy in the 5-8rep range and reduce your calories to the point where you're losing 1-2lbs a week. if you're losing inches off your waist and not losing a lot of strength, then you're on the right track

the biggest misconception about bulking is that you can put a ton of weight on bulking(quality muscle weight)

the fact of the matter is if you have a history of lifting, you arent going to put on more than 4lbs of muscle a month

anything else WILL be fat.(unless you restrict your diet such that you dont eat more than you need)
I think it'd probably best to cut later cuz I need more bulk, size, and strength. People always saying that I'm skinny :sadcam:

Alright good looking out man. I think I'm gonna try that PHAT routine.

also, you're a grown ass man. we can't pick for you, and even if we did, you're gonna do what you wanna do. if you wanna be big w/ a gut or skinny w/ abs its up to you. and neither one of these positions is the end goal hopefully. i think we're just saying if you wanna be bigger and still lean then it would be easiest to cut first for like 2-3months first.

and if you bulking, i dont see the point to the cardio ESPECIALLY on workout days

but thats just my personal opinion

sodas and juices are the number one source of empty calories leading to obesity. they don't even have nutritional value. if you can cut those out and start drinking water or maybe flavored water and stuff, it will help you trim down a lot.

cutting liquid cals alone can take 600-1000 cals off your daily expenditure

for most people, therein lies the surplus that makes most people fat

after that its just a few simply tweaks for cutting

3 days into my cut, managing to keep my macros right, watching calories, things are going as they should.

feelin pretty good too.

I've cut down on my fatty foods and have been drinking 95% water...bloating in my stomach area is reduced. :krs:
