WWE creative feels they’ve done a poor job with their handling of Lashley since his return to television last month.

The feeling is that Lashley instantly got lost in the shuffle due to the Superstar Shake-up. While he debuted the night after WrestleMania 34, attacking Elias, he made his in-ring return on the night of the Superstar Shake-up in a 10-Man Tag Team Match. Just before the match took place, a mystery Superstar Shake-up acquisition turned out to be Bobby Roode, which took the shine off Lashley in his return match.

WWE also feels they did nothing to separate him from the slew of Superstars and make him seem like a top guy. They are aware of this and will be attempting to make him look special in the coming weeks.

Heel him up or partner him with heyman so they can make a tag team with himand lesnar so he can turn on him later and go for his title at summer slam.

This isn't true. The WWE is simply booking him that way. Just like in another thread, all the WWE had to do was copy the TNA storyline and that would have done wonders for Lashley. But of course, the WWE had to bring back a guy coming off an amazing Impact run as a bad ass MMA take no shyt heel and turn him into and bigger and taller Apollo Crews

How was everyone else from tna and njpw able to keep most of their gimmicks and moves, but lashely is this watered down generic bodybuilding character, if he has so much charisma?

i blame creative because the storyline of the feud is what sucks, the segment with the "sisters" and shyt like that is just awful shyt to watch

they could've done something where Sami is jealous this "new guy" Lashley is back in WWE and getting all this adulation after he's been there paying dues for years now

have Sami attack him backstage with a weapon and interfere in his matches and just other heel shyt until Lashley finally snaps goes to Kurt to demand a match and voila you got your match at MITB with a storyline and feud that makes more sense then whatever the hell they doing right now

Because that’s exactly what they’ve done. He’s literally not doing a single thing he’s done in TNA nor his first WWE run. That’s by design. He can’t use the running power slam cause of Braun, the spear cause of Reigns/Charlotte, and for some reason, I don’t think he’s even used the Dominator since he’s been back, even though the commentary keeps referring to Lashley as somebody that dominates. It’s stupid. That’s not a Lashley problem, that’s a WWE problem. He’s coming across as generic cause that’s how the WWE is presenting him.

Odd viewpoint. Orton is 20x worse and he got double digit title reigns. His finisher is a utter Rio off of DDP..he's been doing a fake Stone Cold/Jake the snake amalgam since 2009. They pushed him into a Rumble win last year which led to a nightmare match at WM 33.
