The WWE can make anyone look boring. Braun was rag dolling Reigns and flipping over ambulances not too long ago. Then they took a 6’9” nearly 400 pound man and chumped him out to Brock, made him look like a loser, and was dancing in the ring with New Day. Lashley was a complete bad ass for most of his Impact run, had MVP do most of the talking for him, yet in the WWE, he was initially stripped of everything that made him appealing, built back up with Lio, had him turn on Lio (then not acknowledge that the very next few shows), and is paired with Lana currently for what feels like a 6 month angle just to get Rusev (another dude they made look like a loser) away from Lana. If the WWE wants you to look like a million bucks, they’ll go to the ends of the earth to do it (see: Charlotte, Jinder Mahal for those 9 months or so of having the title, Reigns from ‘14-‘18)

Braun's booking has been textbook Vince "Only I know how to book big men" McMahon. Get him super over, built as an ultimate threat, then completely destroy his mystique by having him job repeatedly to whoever they want to get over next. Outside of Andre and Taker, this is how Vince (actually both Vinces) have always booked big men, so it has always been weird that New York is the big man territory where big men get booked right.

Braun was the most over guy on the roster for a while, was given so much time and energy to give him unique shyt that would huge reactions in arenas and on social media, and once he hit a certain level that Vince assumed would last forever, he just had Brock destroy him repeatedly to keep Brock, the most dominantly booked guy pretty much ever, looking strong. And while it's true Braun rarely loses, he loses every big match against top talent and the audience has been trained to know he's not going to win anything important and his overness has taken a strong hit after the matches with Brock. But this is pretty much exactly how Big Show, Kane, Albert, Test, Yokozuna, King Kong Bundy, Vader, Umaga, Kamala, OMG/Akeem, Bam Bam, Sid, etc were booked.

Post-Mania/Post-Draft they need to shoot bruh over to Smackdown, let MVP talk for him, and put him in an immediate program with Drew(c), using MVP's inherent beef with Drew and Lashley wanting to prove he can beat the person who beat Brock, because there still needs to be mention of Lashley wanting to go at Brock just to have more tape for when they finally do it and can show how long it's been stewing.
I feel like they don't want to go with MVP for Lashley now because it'd be two acts on RAW doing the same advocate-type shyt, so they gotta separate them brand-wise. Then they can make the matchup down the line without pissing people off from avoiding it while they're on the same brand.

Something gotta be done, and it ain't this Lana shyt. Dude is that big and that legit and they can't do anything with him, while they're able to do more with Brock? It's egregious. No reason Lashley should be as trash as he is considering he's working with a similar - if a leveled down - resume as Brock had when he first came back to WWE. He needs to be more than what he is or he should just dip. Dude pre-UFC Brock ripped with legit MMA fights under his belt and he out here losing matches to Jumpy-Flippy Gawd Ricochet and stealing one of two cool Europeans on the whole roster's wife instead of winning titles.

Like Ricochet used to be one the most exciting and dopest talents in the biz.....


Putting on memorable after memorable matches everytime he stepped in the ring.

But since he’s been in the E, both as a character and talent.... dude been bore and unimpressive.

This ain’t the same guy that made the world stop after his match with Ospreay or who was putting on clinics and classics with Mundo, Fenix, and Cage.

I'm not hating on Bobby though, he's in his 40s and prolly wanted to get one last big pay day before he hangs it up.

It’s not a problem if they make Lashley lose.... but if they make Brock treat him like a lower card guy or jobber.... that’s on them and they would’ve idiots.

I thought that maybe at his age , he don’t care anymore. He just wants to collect a check and retire . He makes good money and he is going to be a more upper mid level guy who puts on the rise talent over.
