Jr and TR already have a contract that runs till fall 2015 so the idea of a two fight extension until 2015 makes no sense...if Jr fights Golovkin in July of 2014 that gives Arum a year and a few months to put together about 3 fukking fights within the parameters of the existing contract!
Why should Jr have to agree to extending his contract with Top Rank just to get a fight during the life cycle of his existing contract?

So Jr cant threaten to sit out the remainder of his contract if all his demands aren't met.

The scheduled July 19 fight between 122-pound champion Guillermo Rigondeaux and undefeated prospect Jonathan Guzman will be Rigondeaux’s final fight under his current contract with Top Rank — and manager Gary Hyde wrote on Twitter Sunday morning that they are open to all offers from promoters.

Hyde has spoken out on multiple occasions about his issues with the way Top Rank has promoted his fighter and the manner in which the company’s executive, Bob Arum, has spoken of Rigondeaux.

“When you take out the [Willie] Casey and [Rico] Ramos fights, which I organised, Top Rank will have organised just seven of Rigo's fights in four years,” Hyde wrote on Twitter. “When you consider Donaire, who Rigo schooled, fought four times in 2012, it begs the question why is the [pound for pound] no.3 so inactive.

“Rigo is the most avoided world champion in boxing right now. None of the other 'belt holders' or their promoters will even mention his name, never mind call him out. Let's hope that Rigo will get at least 3 fights per year for the next three years from his new promoter so that boxing fans will get the chance to see his freakish talent and appreciate this boxing genius.”

And this is what Hyde told BoxingScene.com earlier this year:

"Bob Arum has failed in many respects to promote my fighter. One of his duties as a promoter is to influence the TV and the public to appreciate Rigo's unique sublime skills. People respect Bob Arum's pinion, and when he knocks his own fighter for beating up every fighter he has faced, the fans listen to him."

An extension for 1 fight is bullshyt?? When you're getting a $10 million guarantee ppv fight??. okay breh :skip:
But the point is that he shouldn't even be getting asked to sign extensions with a year and a half left on his contract. Its not like the fight was scheduled for July and his contract was up in August.

So Jr cant threaten to sit out the remainder of his contract if all his demands aren't met.
Sitting out for a year hurts Jr more than it hurts TR and Arum.

Winning is turning down $10 million to fight a fighter you asked to fight because your promoter asked for a 1 fight extension? Not to mention he's signed to TR until fall 2015... That nikka is not winning at all

Chavez Jr accepts the 6.6 milly offer ASAP cuz he WANTS the fight even tho its below his value

Arum sneaks in his extension bs killing errything

That = JCC Jr ducking :mjlol:
ulio was offered a $6.6 million guarantee to fight Golovkin in July, which included a two-fight extension.

He aint sneak shyt in..The 2 fight extension was always apart of the contract with the $6.6 million. Chavez didn't agree to that.. just wanted the $6.6 million.. Cool.. So Arum compromised and offered the nikka $10 million if he won and only a 1 fight extension... Jr declined that too... He most likely just wanted to fight GGG and sit the rest of his contract out, he cant do this if he signs a 1 fight extension.. The fact that he turned down $10 million fight with GGG over a 1 fight extension looks like a huge duck to me

Arum on BS it ain't hard to tell...the Harvard Lawyer joo extrodinaire Bob Arum needs JCC Jr to sign an extension in order for him to fight out his contract ending in fall 2015:stopitslime:

Jcc jr was so scared he accepted the 6.6 milly N he accepted the weight penalty...those are the actions of a man not wanting the fight right??:russ:

Nah its not the same at all.. Pac went on to make career high paydays without Floyd....

Jr. Is about to be sitting until fall 2015 not making any money. That nikka will never see $10 million again mrk my words

That doesnt make any sense:patrice:

Is Pacquiao ever seeing a 40 million dollar pay day again?:stopitslime: Well, then it's the EXACT same thing as you saying JCC Jr will never see $10 million again as @ChocolateGiddyUp saying Pac turned down a career payday over drug testing. Both of th purses they were offered would've been their career highs and NEITHER of them will be offered that again:ufdup:

JCC Jr career high pay day is still $3 million against Sergio Martinez.....how much you wanna bet that JCC Jr joins up with Al haymon and goes on to make career high paydays without Arum?:sas2:
