Chavez Jr ain't :deadmanny: he aint signing bullshyt extensions nor is he taking a 70% pay decrease:umad:

So Jcc jr will fight the veras of the world while making over a milly per fight til that contract is up...cuz Bob NEEDS an extension for a contract that got over a yr an a half on it:russ:

Bob Arum outside Chavez crib like :to:
john-cusack-in-say-anything.jpg

Yep and he's giving up $10 million plus in the process.. He would have to fight Vera 5 times to make that. All because he refused to sign for 1 extra fight :mjlol:..

How much of that "10 million" u think Arum was goin pocket?? :youngsabo:

Chavez already said his money wasnt right...same as Mikey..i guess 1.5 million a fight will suffice...then sign that reported 45 million deal Haymon offering in the fall '15:smugdraper:

Its been reported by multiple sites...

Report: Haymon Offering Chavez Jr. $47 Million, Multi-Year Deal | theboxingtribune.com

Arturo Sacramento of Yahoo Deportes is reporting that former middleweight titlist, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is being courted aggressively by behind-the-scenes power broker, Al Haymon.

Reportedly, Haymon is offering the second generation star a multi-year contract worth as much as $47 million.

No wonder Jr sabotaging the GGG fight.. He not trying to jeopardize that new contract by taking a horrible L to GGG... I guarantee Chavez will sit until fall 2015

the only problem is that if he sits out too long will he be able to fight at all? he already has weight problems but that 47 mil is looking great

But Bob offered Chavez the fight with no extension, he would just take a pay cut: :manny: Bob isnt doing anything any different from any other promoter. Why is it fair for Chavez to demand this huge purse over GGG not taking any risk that the fight does poorly and Top Rank loses money, then takes his talents elsewhere?[/QUOTE]
be the voice of reason for bob arum's shady business dealings brehs:heh:

I just thought about something...

Canelo just made $10+ million... over 2 million in ppv buys with Floyd.. Next fight Canelo is only guaranteed a $1.2 million purse and only makes profit when ppv reach 300k.. No one bats an eyelash

Bob Arum offer Jr the same exact deal.. no contract extension... $2.5 million purse (over a million higher than Canelo's with ppv revenue kicking in when the buys reach over 300k.. Jr turns that down... Now here comes the Bob Arum lynch mob

Thoughts??

GGG=Alfredo Angulo off a loss:usure:

Canelo got 70-80% of all the PPV which is why the guarantee was so low

JCC Jr was offered a shyt guarantee N no PPV until after it sold over 400-600k...huge difference:comeon:

Canelo got ppv revenue only after like 300-400k.. and it was the same with Jr's offer who had a guaranteed purse over a million larger than Canelo... where are you getting 400k-600k from.. it was somewhere between 300k and 400k and his revenue would kick in.. Since Jr is this big draw, what is the problem?? And remember, Canelo was coming off a lost but he was coming from over 2 million ppv buys unlike Jr who got his ass completely dominated by Sergio going on to beat.......... Bryan Vera :skip:... Jr. want what he aint earn yet

Where did you get this from?:mjpls:

I've never heard that. Just a straight 80/20 split on the PPV profits in favor of Canelo.....not capped or any numbers he had to hit first is was ever reported

Canelo got 80% regardless of how much the ppv sold that's why he accepted the low ass guarantee... if he wouldn't get $$$ til after 300k buys the nikka wouldn't of made shyt cuz it only sold 350k

Jccjr wasn't getting no Canelo deal...from arum N why tf would you trust Arum paying you for PPV when the whole reason You N others wanna break free is cuz he hides ppvs numbers N doesn't show you the $$$ you bring in

JCC Jr manager on the no reup ppv split...:stopitslime:

Keane also said that under terms of the new deal, Chavez would not get a share of pay-per-view revenues until after Top Rank had made "millions upon millions of dollars."

"The so-called upside on the pay-per-view did not even kick in until Top Rank made multiple millions of dollars," said Keane, according to ESPN.com. "More than Chavez and likely more than both fighters combined. This is why the fight is no longer happening. It's completely disturbing and completely unfair how these negotiations were."[\QUOTE]
